Easy to set up works a treat, only bad point you need a magnifying glass to read instructions

This is the simplest device to install I have ever used. Here are the directions: 1 Insert the SIM Card. 2 Plug it in. And… it works just fine. There is no user interface. The tech support online is OK. Just Plug and connect. The passcode is on the bottom

For some reason the 4G only worked for me the first time and then it degraded over the next hour until it stopped working; restarting or doing a factory reset didn’t do anything, when I stuck the sim card back in my phone it worked normally again, but retrying it in the sim card slot of the router didn’t do anything. Yet when I connected it via a cable to a modem everything works fine, so I’m keeping it as an access point to another room, but not very useful as a 4G/SIM router (at least for me).

I do recommend installing the update…that improved operation. I have it mounted outdoors in a semi-weatherproof enclosure and it works great – I have had it online now. Powered from a solar panel + battery system, and it only pulls a few hundred milliamps max. The user interface was surprisingly good…better than I expected from a brand that isn’t exactly a household name. I have two webcams and a weather station on the Wi-Fi network, and reliability has been great. I did program the unit to reboot itself every morning at 4AM just to make sure it doesn’t get hung; that was a nice feature in the user interface.

A lovely little unit but there’s nowhere to set the APN for your cellular network.
