Laptop arrived put on charge as per instructions. It was the ryzen 7 version with 12 hour battery. In fact it was just over 2 so maybe it was meant to say 1 to 2 hours battery as opposed to 12? The point of a slim and petite/ lightweight laptop is the portability. I don’t expect to carry the charger everywhere too. I tried to return the item and nightmare begins. Amazon chat… for nearly an hour and I was told to print label for a hermes pick up. Collection can be anytime from 8 am to 8pm. Waited all day…. nothing. Back on amazon chat ‘so sorry won’t happen again’. Day 2 waited all day… no show. Amazon chat again…so sorry…you get the idea. So they have £550 and I have a defective laptop and 2 days less leave.

I bought this for my son to take to uni for his science degree.
It has a powerful processor, snappy ssd, good screen and is capable of handling all his computing, rendering and drawing tools. He’s a happy camper at least.

Such a good little laptop so far! It’s light weight, has a perfect sized keyboard for lots of typing – it’s quiet and as a bonus plays the Sims 4 with all the expansion packs on high graphic settings! I think it might get a bit hot after some gaming, but I just make sure I use it on a laptop tray and not straight on my bed like I did with my old one. The sounds not bad too for a laptop. All in all a big upgrade for me from my last one. Will update this review if I find something that annoys me. If I had to say something negative now I’d say why the neon yellow enter key? Doesn’t help me type any easier and just looks a bit odd – I’d probably colour the edges with a black Sharpie if it wasn’t brand new haha.

Really a cross between notebook and laptop. Purchased as a Christmas present, it is light to carry & has a passable size screen with good brightness and high definition. It uses the laptop version of the same chipset as my desktop computer but runs appreciably faster. Partly due to its entirely SSD drive, mine has a mechanical Home partition. Came with Windows 10 but after trying this out, finding it slow & clumsy the drive was formatted to EXT4 and Linux Mint 20 installed. No contest, it now flies by comparison. We could not get on with the ‘touchpad’ and this is now switched off & replaced by a wireless mouse. It is now a great machine, very happy with it.

I returned it cause I had problem with a touchpad(Don’t think it was faulty but I wasn’t used to it). Waited almost two weeks for a refund and had to call them cause very likely I would wait much longer ( I used an amazon locker to return the item so don’t understand how they can deliver in 1 day but can’t process the returns in 2 weeks)

Exceptionally suprised by this given the price on Amazon.
Ryzen 7 3700U processor, 8Gb Ram 512 Gb SSD.
2 Gb Vram (integrated)
Bought as an Xmas gift for my son.
Next day delivery from Amazon.
Very very impressed for such a lightweight laptop.
Graphics run smoothly at 60 Hz.
Minecraft runs @ 160 fps which is a perfectly acceptable number for a ‘non gaming’ laptop.
Connectivity as well as expected bluetooth etc.
1 x std USB (Type A 3.1), 2 x USB type 2.0, 1 x USB C 3.1, Micro SD card reader & HDMI 1.4.
How much technology has moved on.

Who puts the power button and the delete button next to each other? I am constantly turning off the laptop when I’m just trying to delete a word and when editing a website this means I loose my work. It’s a really bad design.

This was such a promising laptop which we ordered as a Christmas gift for our daughter. She loved it but didn’t love the fact the battery only lasted 45 minutes! It was fully charged again but still the battery went flat in less than an hour.
I cannot fault Amazon customer services who were amazing. I undertook an online chat with them on Christmas day only hours after opening the laptop. They tried to assist to fix the issue and when it became apparent that this wouldn’t help, they assisted to ensure a return was started, collection arranged and a full refund has been processed.
