MR A E BARKER –
Another great laptop by Asus with a great old screen – pricey but if you can afford it buy it recomended
Shuhel –
Battery Life isn’t what it claimed.
I am only getting around 6-7 hours at most during Normal use and that’s not watching any videos or YouTube, just surfing/browsing or using Microsoft Office Applications.
However, the Camera and OLED touchscreen is just amazing.

What a piece of kit

Everything about this laptop is fantastic. Apart from the OLED screen. Ironic really. OLED is meant to have deep blacks. This panel looks way worse than any laptop or screen I have ever owned. Very bad clouding on the right half of the screen. Strangely it seems to be almost exactly half of the screen that it occurs on. I will be sending this back and hoping for a replacement as the laptop itself is fantastic.
Also maybe this has something to do with it on the bottom right-hand corner there is a very intense flicker that does not happen on the left hand side so I’m wondering if it’s a voltage problem
Random techie –
I had a vague suspicion that I’d bought something I could have done cheaper with a bit more research. (Long story, but after a very unhappy experience with something similar, lots cheaper and less well known on the brand front, I decided that maybe you get what you pay for!)
It’s hard to fault this machine. But you might be happier with an external USB-C dock if you’re going to get it at its best.
The screen: amazing. It needs less calibration than pretty much anything I’ve ever used, the convenience of touchscreen is rather lovely, and although I’m a tiny bit nervous of using the included stylus without some sort of screen protector (available but may need professional application if you’re going to avoid bubbles) it works really well.
Startup time is also excellent — even with the dozen things I have set to run at startup, it’s usable long before its predecessors have been. OK, so with an 11th generation core i7 cpu I should expect no less, but it’s always nice to see paper…

I’ve used Microsoft’s Surface lineup for years, going through all of its iterations and yet they were all hit with the same screen defect. I finally decided to purchase this rather than continuously buying a new Surface.
First of all, it’s incredibly light! The screen is super thin and it’s very sleek. A case is included.
But, after a few hours of use several things became apparently – mostly relating to the keyboard.
The keyboard is VERY cramped. I will get used to it, for sure, but it is hard to type quickly on.
The backlighting on the keyboard…. The function keys at the top are terribly backlit as the backlight LEDs themselves are visible and very distracting. This is not much of an issue on the main keys. I also somehow chipped the paint on my ‘B’ key within hours of use, so I have a tiny dot of backlight in the middle of the key… not ideal. Adding on, I’ve noticed the backlight isn’t automatic in turning on/off, a feature I really valued compared to the Surface.
I got 8 and 1/2…
