Arrived quickly and well packaged — everything in good working order.
I ordered the 1TB drive version sold by SEremarketing, and they included a free USB WIFI dongle which I wasn’t expecting. The processor was a quad core I5-4570 as described, with 8GB RAM (2 * 4GB sticks, 2 free slots). A fresh install of Windows 10 Pro was on the hard disk.
Inside the case there is room for another SATA hard drive, more memory and a “low profile” graphics card (a low profile Nvidia 1030 or 1050TI can go in for gaming if that is what you are interested in — youtube has lots of videos about how you can upgrade this model).
There are no HDMI ports, but there are 2 digital “DisplayPort” ports — if you need HDMI, HDMI to DisplayPort adapters are only a few pounds.

Item delivered quickly and as described. The CPU was slightly higher spec than advertised (i.e. i5 4590 Vs i5 4570). Did not come with keyboard or mouse but wasn’t a concern as I had them from my previous PC. Overall very happy since only paid about half of what a new PC from Currys with similar specs would have been. Case was clean, no obvious internal dust and very few scuff marks.

Because there are so many version when you check them out on the HP website, it would be nice to be provided with a sheet with appropriate description and position of all the connections. I had to search and search. Some pictures in Black did not help! Which leads me to my personal main negative. Despite knowing what it looked like and dimensions before ordering. It is only when you place it on the desk you realize the massive black slab, like in 2001. Unless you are a Goth, it is not easy to see some items, as well as ignoring it when set aside, unless you seat the matching Monitor Black off screen on top, and a black keyboard in front of it. Perfect for a Goth.
On the positive side, it is so far a nice item to have for sure. Lovely up to date spec save the missing WIFI. Almost every comprehensive connections. Very quiet fan so far. Surprising sweet speakers sound. Unobtrusive disc. The ‘slab’ is at least thin on one side ,and convenient to place on a desk with the Screen and…

Mine was supplied by secondlife-it, but there seems to be an ever changing array of sellers. It is unclear how much refurbishment was carried out before resale, but the interior was clean and with a 3.2GHz chip, 8Gb RAM and a SSHD, running Windows10 Professional, it operates fast and very smoothly. Activating Windows10 and took a little time but was quite straightforwards. Don’t bother with the 128Gb hard drive version – the operating system and essential software like Office will take half of it. You will need to buy Office as only Windows is included, but nevertheless, the SSHD should ensure a long life and you would easily pay double for the same performance/capacity if bought new.

Mine came from SEremarketing and it’s a good buy. It’s not an EliteDesk, it’s a ProDesk, but the difference in minor. It will take half-height PCI graphics cards, but comes with integrated Intel HD 4600 which is adequate for two HD displays. Note you will need a DisplayPort adapter for HDMI, or you can use the VGA port. A genuine Win 10 Pro license is provided, the COA is stuck inside on the power supply (this wasn’t pointed out). Go to Microsoft and download the “Media Creation Tool” for Win10 for backup purposes. I tested this out and installed a fresh copy of Win10 and, once connected to the internet, it downloaded all the required drivers. You might want to download the HP Assistant Programme to scan for any further updates. More than adequate for homework/working at home. If you haven’t got MS Office, then download OpenOffice or use Google Docs. Great system, with USB3.1 ports, plenty of expansion (providing you use half-height/low profile cards suitable for Small Form Factor…

Bought to replace Windows 7 machine which was nearly 8 years old, still going ok but not W10 compatible without upgrades.
I’m not a gamer and only need it for browsing, email, YouTube etc. After researching a bit for refurbs I decided to “chance” this way instead of going brand new.Delivered as promised. The PC I got has been unused, no dust no nothing – spotless. It’s an older machine, obviously, but with specs far better than my W7 PC.
PC was spotless, tower, lead and a wireless usb dongle in the box. Didn’t like the look of the lead as I have a spare and used that instead. VGA or Display port, had to dig out a VGA lead but soon purchased a Display Port to HDMI lead for my screen and that’s fine – ยฃ6.
Booted PC, updated W10 – it’s quiet no issues. Boots up immediately – my old W7 allowed me to shuffle off and make a tea before getting going so this is a new experience!
All in all after 2 weeks I can’t complain. ยฃ156 for a “new” PC – no brainer. Maybe I got lucky but why go elsewhere.

My wife’s PC recently lost the will to live and went to the great scrapyard in the sky. So rather than fiddle around fixing the old one, I decided to just buy one “off the shelf”. Previously I have always bought all the necessary components and built PC’s, then installed Windows, yaddy yaddy ya, but I couldn’t be bothered. This one is apparently “restored”, rather than new, but it was clean, tidy and well packed, so what’s not to like. We just hooked it up to all the (miles of spaghetti) appropriate leads (mouse, VDU, etc, etc), switched it on and it happily fired up Windows 10 64 bit Pro, in about 10 seconds. The Intel quad core (3.2 meg) processor is fast enough for our needs and it runs remarkably silently. If it subsequently bursts into flames, or tries to go for world domination, I will report back. But so far it works perfectly.
