The good things about this printer, aside from the fact that it’s mobile, is that the print quality is good. Which is important. But although quite easy to set up, at least for wireless, it knocked out the default main printer, it can’t be set up for wireless and USB at the same time though the blurb says it can, and it smells poisonous. We all fell over and had to leave the room. Trying to register it, I found the serial number wasn’t recognised and the machine was out of warranty in 2017. I bought it June 2020. Go figure that out. And there was no HP support. Or anyone from amazon. Appalling.

Unfortunately this was a disappointment from the outset, printer didn’t seem to charge even though left plugged in to mains for several hours, black ink cartridge returned an error message and still failed to work after following HP online trouble shooting guides. Printed very quickly using the Tricolor cartridge on its own but as previously stated, just refused to work when disconnected from mains power. Amazon customer services were excellent and a refund arranged subject to return. Have ordered the HP Officejet 250 as a replacement which is slightly larger and although not as cheap as other sellers online, even on Amazon, have decided to order an Amazon fulfilled item due to the excellent customer service backup – This printer has arrived with a battery separately packaged and both ink cartridges seem to be working okay albeit not as fast on startup as the HP200, the return is all sealed and from memory I do not recall having a separate battery to install and wonder if this was…

I needed a portable printer but was worried I would have to compromise on quality. How wrong I was……. this is simply brilliant! It’s fast, quiet, battery or mains, small and very importantly has some weight and sturdiness.
Still on my original cartridges after nearly a month average use. I purchased a spare pack of cartridges at the time I ordered the printer, but didn’t need to as seen to last very well.
In all a nice well designed little workhorse of a printer which I actually prefer to use rather than a much bigger office machine we have, as it’s actually kind of fun to use!

This printer was bought so it could be easily lifted up and taken home and it does do this, however, I find that it always needs to be plugged in, printing for any amount drains it very quickly.
As for the Ink… I am getting tired of print providers only half filing these, especially on a unit this expensive, I took away 2 stars for this.

I’ve got it today, with all the set up and test printing, I’m absolutely happy after hours looking for a colour printer for my little “office” at home.
PROS: It is smaller and lighter than I thought. Such a great surprise as I really need sth small and compact to fit to my tiny office corner. I can put it on top of my laser printer and use both printer without any trouble. Too easy to install and set up, one thing I love about HP. One instruction manual for installing without any letter, just images step-by-step. Can’t be wrong. Then for setting up wifi, just follow the message. Done within few minutes. Then print by AirPrint from my phone. Successful! Fast charging as well. Battery came up from 30% to 90% within 30′. Not sure why people got troubles. And quite good quality printing as well. I printed one photo downloaded from Internet and it was so beautiful that I decided to use it instead just considered it as a test.

I had a previous model of this printer. It lasted me for 15 years. This one is faster and the print quality is still very good indeed.
The Wi-fi works well and so it can be a printer for any device accessing the network.
Small foot print and light. So it can travel too.
Good tough construction.

Been looking for a while now for a nice small compact little printer, only to then find this little beauty ! at first i was back and forth checking out other similar machines as i felt that at the best part of £170 this was overly expensive for its functions, however it seems that all portable printers seem to have the same pricing range. Setting up the printer could not have been any easier, straight out of the well packaged box and the printer was literally setup in 5 mins ! connection to the WIFI network was a doddle !! as through the printers setup options you are able to manually enter your WIFI password meaning no more pressing the WPS button and praying it will connect !! after setup was complete you simply have to add the printer though the add printer settings on your PC and 2 mins later your ready to go !! printing speed is pretty damn quick for such a small model aswell. it can be switched onto quiet mode if needed but this little model really isn’t that noisy, haven’t…
