Sometimes I think some reviews are fake or people just lie or say nonsense. I am an engineer, many computers have passed through my hands and I can certify that: It’s not a noisy computer. The fan noise is not loud, as the computer body is aluminium and it keeps it fresh. -Horrible quality, dead after 5 weeks??? How could someone say this? The quality of this product is incredible, maybe this guy does not know that you can not have a shower with your Laptop. -Seems like an apple Mac rip-off… I actually work with both systems, each one has its advantages but this computer works as good as any Mac.
And now my personal opinion if I compare it with another of my old Laptops. Processor, the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U works very well. You can do what 90% people usually do with a Laptop. 8 RAM, if you are not a graphic designer working with designer programs …It is more than enough (if you are, probably should work on a Desktop with lots of RAM) I recommend the 512 Gb Storage options, its just 50 pounds…

I rather like this Huawei Matebook – despite a couple of minor but annoying issues.
Indeed, I used to have 2 laptops – an HP Pavilion for serious home-office work (15.6″ display) and a small Lenovo Yoga 300 (11″) for my travels. This Matebook has surprisingly replaced them both.
Alas, the Yoga, albeit upgraded with a PNY 256GB SSD, was showing its age. Also, battery life was deteriorating rapidly. Rather than go to the exorbitant expense of a new battery, I decided to get a replacement – and this notebook came highly recommended. I opted for the 14″ 512 GB SSD and AMD R5 processor version as that seemed the most cost effective solution with good battery life.
I was immediately impressed – this Huawei Matebook is compact, well made and very quick. Battery life is brilliant, charging is rapid and the fingerprint sensor very convenient. The display is crisp, the keyboard precise and the sound quality excellent. For the price, this is a surprisingly good laptop. The Amazon option of 5…

I’ve had this laptop for a month or so now and the one I got does come with a fingerprint reader, which is great. Makes logging in really quick. Generally, I’m really pleased with this laptop. It’s really slim and portable but has lots of screen space so doesn’t seem small. The only things that are slightly annoying are: 1) You can’t just save things to the usually named folders on the laptop. If I save it in ‘documents’ there’s not much space there. I have to select a separate D: drive to save things there because that’s where the space is. Not too much hassle but it is a bit like saving everything to an external drive (that’s in your laptop) instead of the usual place on your laptop. And I keep forgetting and just saving it to the main bit that only has a little bit of space. I’m not really very computer-techy so this is weird to me and I’m not sure why it does this. 2) The camera is less than useless. It pops up out of the keyboard. Right now, I’ve got the laptop on my lap and…
