Really disappointed with this screen. Picture sharpness is good but the colour balance is awful and can’t be fixed by adjusting the settings. Has really poor white balance which can’t be adjusted which causes the colour to appear washed out with a real lack of saturation. Even turning the brightness down you get this horrible over exposed back lit type effect. I bought to replace a 4 year old Acer screen which just gave up the ghost. Looked good value but reality is the price was too good to be true. I would give it a miss if I was choosing again. Guess I’ve just got to get used to it now.

Bought this as a second display for home working. Was more concerned about cost than quality but the pic quality is more than good enough for spreadsheets!
The menu is easy to navigate and adjust settings etc. Also a nice touch a hdmi cable was included. The cable was good enough for my purposes but gamers might want to upgrade.
Should be 5 stars for the package but loses one for the inexplicably short power cable. Your power source better be no farther than the bottom of the table you’re working on or you’ll need an extension. I’m working on the dining table and whilst my laptop cable reaches the socket easily enough the display is well short. Why cut the length of something so cheap?!

I want to begin by saying that I use this monitor as a secondary display to my iMac.
It serves incredible value for money if it’s on sale (mine was £77) . The features you get for it such as full HD and 16:9 aspect ratio is very well served . It has a matte display. Unlike other budget monitors this one has a joystick control making it alot better and more minimal than other monitors. The bezels are slightly clunky compared to more expensive monitors but still acceptable . I would say that the out of box calibration are not optimal and you should spend maybe 10mins setting them up . There are a few things which could be considered bad such as the stand. It is not vertically adjustable. There are only two image ports 1 hdmi and another VGA. I would have hoped there was a display port connector . I did have to buy a HDMI interface so I could connect 2 devices to it. I think that LG have misused the word gaming for this monitor as this only goes to 75hz and it is a TN panel. If you are…

Basic desktop with only one button that works like a joystick. Didn’t find an info that it included an HDMI cable and unnecessarily ordered a separate one. It’s a perfect screen for working from home now we are on lockdown. Happy with it as well as fast delivery.

We needed to replace some of our older monitors which were showing signs of their age. Prices seem to have gone up in general since I last had to purchase some. I needed 2 decent quality screens of 22 inches as an upgrade as well as a replacement to the 2 smaller monitors I was decommissioning. These are thin, the colours are vibrant and the user felt like she had had an upgrade. The user really likes the sharpness of the picture. We use these in an office environment.

Clear, hi resolution.
When viewed at angles greater than 25degrees becomes pale and hard to view.
Also it is very wide screen and a lot of games and software is built for more traditional screen ratios.
It is also tiltable which is good.
It was a little difficult to set up with Linux but it seem to sort itself out after a bit.
It sits on its own pedestal and has a mini control button underneath the screen to adjust settings.
No complaints so far.

I ordered this monitor to work from home, I paid 75£. This is not a very good quality screen. The black isn’t really black, but grey. Even worse, the black is a different colour at the bottom and top of the screen, depending on which angle you look at it. Also, I do a lot of documentation for work and the lettering looked like a pc from the nineties, very pixilated and not sharp. I spent an extra 15£ on another screen from Dell which I installed today, which is way better, and also able to tilt the screen. Will keep this as a spare for emergencies…

Colours are terrible. Doesn’t matter what the viewing angle is whenever there’s a solid colour on the screen you can see a very clear gradient from dark at the top to very washed out and light at the bottom. Avoid this display. Purchase a better one or an IPS one such as the LG 22MN430M-B which is only £10 more elsewhere. I have returned this screen.
