This is my first 4k HDR monitor. I somehow underestimated how big it was phyiscally – it’s more imposing than expected. I think that’s partially because of the stand, for what its worth.
The monitor is stunning, though. I’ve been watching a lot of 4k HDR on Youtube since getting this, because it’s just incredible.
Greaet monitor, absolutely amazing price for it too considering some of the other things out there. Highly recommended.

I bought this when it was on sale for ยฃ300 and at this price I think it’s a great 4K monitor.
32 Inch is a good size for a 4K monitor and at this size you can use it at no scaling if you have good eyesight.
The out of box colour made things look grey instead of black. I made the following changes to mine: * Factory reset * Picture Mode = Custom * Brightness = 70 * Contrast = 70 * Black Level = Low (For HDMI only) * DFC = Off * Response Time = Fast * Black Stabilizer = 0 * Gamma = Mode 3 * Color Temp = Medium
Positives: * No dead pixels so far. * Good size. * No drop outs when using Free sync extended mode on a 1080ti.
Negatives * No auto input switching. * Manual input switching takes up to 5 button clicks. * Colour shift across screen (You get use to it) * white haze on a solid white background (from the de-fusser on the screen?) * The monitor needs a lot of space from the thickness of the stand and that the connectors are facing out on the back.
On a related note I could not access the bios on my PC…

~~This is first impressions after using the monitor for 2 hours.~~
The monitor has amazing clarity, much much clearer than any of the 4 1080p screens I’ve used. (as expected for 4k I guess :D) It’s moderately bright (not super bright) and the colours are vivid and clear. The monitor has 2 problems in my opinion. – The monitor stand is rigid and the monitor is stuck basically 2cm off the desk. My chair is already as low as it can go but the monitor my head is above the top of the monitor (I’m 6ft2) – The monitor has a lot of input lag. It feels like I’m dragging my mouse cursor through mud. Comparing it to the 3 random 60Hz monitors I have lying around my house, this monitor is the slowest and most ‘muddy’ feeling by quite a large margin. I’ve tested this monitor running at 67Hz (the maximum overclock I could get out of the box), I’ve tested with response time set to all the presets available, and I’ve tested the monitor with all it’s input connections. (HDMI1, HDMI2, Displayport). I don’t…

The 32UN500 is fine for games and watching video content if you want 4K (and 32″ is optimal desktop size for this resolution), but for anything else, the colours are just too washed out, with very visible gamma shift across the screen. Pretty typical for VA panels, but this isn’t a good example. On the plus side, there was very little bleed visible, nor any stuck/dead pixels or dirt under the panel… all problems I encounter far too often with monitors. Depends on your use case, but if you want a monitor for work, you’re probably better off with an IPS panel. It’s just unfortunate that at this size there are so few IPS options to choose from.

I purchased two of these monitors to support the current homeworking needs during the lockdown for my wife and I. Overall – very I’m very impressed.
Setup was very easy for both – my wife needed the stand that the monitor came with. This was very easy to set up – and I could see would be very easy to remove if needed (this is very different from my old LG Ultrawidescreen monitor – where the supplied stand is very difficult to remove). I used the VESA mount i already had – and this was very easy to install and (unlike other screens) did not leave an unsightly bundle of sockets at the back.
Screen quality is very clear and audio quality (using HDMI) was surprisingly good – they are good speakers in this monitor with some bass (as much as a think monitor can give anyway). I was concerned about the vents at the top – would large amounts of heat escape there and fry my webcam? In reality – this has not happened and it does not appear to get hot.
