First thing to say is I didn’t get this for free. Paid my own money for it.
Second thing is that I’m a long time Logitech fan, They are rarely the cheapest but in my experience they offer good value and good quality. The Pebble mouse is just that. Not the cheapest but quality and value.
I needed a flat mouse to fit in the laptop sleeve and the couple of cheaper ones I’ve seen do seem to be just that – cheap. The Pebble is nicely made, works well and has the bonus of Bluetooth connectivity as well as the USB dongle. Means you don’t need anything sticking out of the side of your laptop, but if you don’t have Bluetooth you can still use the mouse with the dongle.
Neat, effective and well made. Another hit from Logitech.

Pleasantly surprised how superb this mouse is! Bought to replace old failed Microsoft mouse, which I’ve been putting up with for years (batteries lasting 5 minutes, Bluetooth not connecting, etc). Specifically wanted a compact laptop mouse which must have Bluetooth (hate those small USB wireless dongles sticking out the side of laptop). The design and quality of this mouse is amazing, love the top simply attached with magnets, only one AA battery (too early to tell how life is) and still have the option of wireless connection. Initial set up fast and simple, and reconnects over Bluetooth each time instantly. Overall a very recommended purchase.

I went through a few Bluetooth mice, some cheap one some more expensive ones. I found this was the best. I cannot vouch for it battery life but certainly it is the most silent one. All clicks (including the middle one via the wheel) are silent. Using the wheel also is silent. It is also fairly flat which is good if you travel. The battery compartment is easily accessed by removing the top cover. I like it has just one single AA battery which means it is light – compared to the top Bluetooth mice on amazon it is quite rare. Also, what it cannot be understated, the energy saving capabilities are correctly implemented, i.e. when a mouse is not used for a while it goes into a sleep but you do not have to click the mouse to wake it up, any movement wakes it up – most of the Bluetooth mice needs to be clicked to wake it up which can be very annoying in e.g. presentations.

this little mouse is quite convenient for laptop use as a substitute of the often un ergonomically designed laptop trackpads.
Unfortunately it has the following shortcomings:
– its functionality are limited. Using a MacBook Pro you can’t customise it. So it can be used only for the basic functions
– the scrolling wheel doesn’t work perfectly, as the first scroll doesn’t result in immediate scrolling down
– pairing has been tricky. Once paired, though, it connects immediately.
Not bad, but not great either.
I have been using it for only a few days now, so I wouldn’t know about the battery life.
UPDATE.
After a few months I decided to downgrade it from 3 to 2 stars. The reason is that I could verify some little problems that are quite annoying:
– very often the connection the computer (I use it with a 2015 MacBook Pro) interrupts, or the mouse goes to sleep, I do not know, but it is quite annoying, I must say, as the pointer is not immediately ready to move

Quiet click action and good battery life. But USB not working after 18 months. Amazon says contact Logitech; Logitech website says contact Amazon. As a result, I am getting nowhere. Conclusion: if you buy from Amazon, the 3 year Logitech warranty is not obtainable. Would buying direct from Logitech provide better warranty and support? Who knows!?
Update 9/03/2021: The USB receiver connects intermittently or fails to do so. It may reconnect if you unplug and replug, or work with another USB port (but once again intermittently). Ditto if you try using this USB receiver and mouse on another laptop, including a brand new computer: the USB and mouse will still work only intermittently. From this I concluded it cannot be a software or laptop settings issue – the fault has to be the USB receiver itself. Logitech will send you a long email with links on trying this or that fix – none of them will work. During COVID-19 lockdown, I had a bit of time to research this problem. What you need to…
