got as a replacement for a s9 as the battery was only lasting till lunch

some bits are not as good as the Samsung like the camera but rest of the phone have not had a problem
    runs much the same

I was going to buy a S20 or s21 but are loads more money
and for what a couple of pics and look on Facebook any phone can do that

A superb mid range Android phone at an amazingly good value price. Brought it as a stand in for a just out of warrantee malfunctioning iPhone costing over 4 times as much. The Moto G60s turned out to be a much better phone!!! The version of Android is a near clean installation uncluttered with bloatware, with excellent configurability. The fingerprint scanner is accurate and perfect every time, the screen at 120hz refresh is very good for an IP-LCD in being bright and clear. The camera setup although not of a trailblazing specification, provides good image rendition for day to day pictures. The MediaTek G95 processor is responsive and at least as good as anything comparable from Qualcomm, where the 128gb RAM gives plenty of storage without the need for SD Cards – which can be added and the battery at 6000 mAH lasts a full day of extended use and some more.
All in all an excellent high quality phone.

This has a fantastic spec for price perhaps only beaten by some of the Chinese brands that don’t have Google. Camera’s are very good, the phone has lots of helpful features unique to Motorola. It comes with a half charged battery which is plenty to get it set up. At first I thought the battery life was a bit short, but I think that might have been the background updates draining the battery as its now been a few days since my last charge. Charging is very very fast. I highly recommend this as a reasonably priced phone to compete with higher priced phones.

I’ve had moto phones for the last couple of phones I’ve had. This one was a disappointment. Not a disaster but it kept corrupting memory cards which is one of the key things I want to work in a phone as i store a lot of offline music. I think they peaked with the Moto S7 Plus and it’s been going a bit downhill since then.

I’ve gone back to a new S7 to get me through the next couple of years… unsure if I’ll buy another moto after the experience with the G60.

You wouldn’t believe how much I agonised over buying a new phone; here are my findings, in the hope it’ll help someone else.
I chose this phone because the following things were important to me:
It had to be sim free/unlocked as I live in Ireland and want the freedom to change carrier as needed. It had to have 128GB storage, I needed a lot having come from a phone with only 16! It had to have the latest Android OS, so I could be up to date for as long as possible. It had to have fast charge, as this is an essential feature for my circumstances. It needed to have a longer lasting battery, so I wasn’t always running out of power at inconvenient times. It had to have no ads and as little bloatware as possible, because I believe you pay enough for a phone and ads should not be included by a sneaky manufacturer. It needed a 3.5mm headphone jack as I have specific reasons for it.
The Moto G60s ticks all of those boxes, happily. I’ve had the phone for a week, and I’ve used it constantly. It…

I needed a replacement for my G6 that got the screen broken, the cost of getting a new screen was not worth it. This was about the best of what I was looking for at the price point. The new (to me) size is too large for my current handlebar case when using as a saynav, so that means extra expenditure. Also obviously, it does not fit in my pocket so well as older smaller phone. That said, it’s a good phone, good spec and had a reasonable battery life. Would I recommend it? Yes, but be aware that the extra cm size does make a difference.

First the good points: excellent build quality and design. Crystal clear screen and fast and responsive. Now the bad which earn it 1 star: This phone was fully charged and contents of my old phone copied over with no problems. But it randomly switches off completely and unable to wake it via fingerprint, face recognition, or power button. Have to reboot with long press of the power button almost every time I picked it up to use. Had this vfor less than a day and must have had to do this 20 times. Totally unusable phone. I tried factory reset and safe mode restart. Searching online for the problem revealed many others with same issue. In process of a return and refund request. Do NOT buy this phone.

In typical Motorola fashion, the device comes with near-stock Android, while the Motorola software addons are not intrusive and actually add value, aka not bloatware.

With that said so far the battery is holding up really well, but I will revisit in a couple of months and see if that’s still the case.
