Let me first say that this moniter dose a few things very well. Its color reproduction and black levels for a moniter at this price are out of its class, also the impressive 165hz refresh rate and 1440p pannle are very good at this price. However dont listen to the 1ms response time claims, you do get a 1ms response time but at the cost of massive trails of pixel over drive and barely readable text during movement. I think they tried to make the perfect moniter for this price but sadly failed

This is very high quality product.
I came across this monitor from AMD’s official website whilst reading information on my GPU and I did a lot of research before buying as majority of monitors in market didn’t appeal to me. The level of graphic details and performance on 1440p in ultra settings feels boundless on this monitor even if you run games on high settings you will not be disappointed with topnotch performance.
I have Ryzen 9 3900x with AMD MSi 5700XT and this beast of monitor has truly unleashed the power of my graphic card. Although my GPU currently does not support ray tracing but upcoming AMD cards will have them so very good investment for future.
Gaming OSD app and Mystic Monitor RGB app can be downloaded from MSi website and they are extremely user friendly to use. Monitor refresh rates can be switched from display settings (60Hz,144Hz&165Hz).
Overall, I will highly recommend this monitor for ultimate gaming experience. This is truly gem of a monitor for 1440p gamers…

Bought this as a replacement for a standard 60Hz. I was debating between 1440p or 144Hz but then I found this. 1440p and 165Hz and G-Sync compatibility for a good price. I wasn’t sure about the curved screen because at 27′ it makes absolutely no difference and only decreases the viewing angle and increases thickness. If you want to have people around the room watching a game/movie on a slim display… choose something else.
1440p at 27′ is a perfect ratio. No point paying extra for 4k at this size. 165Hz is amazing in my opinion and I’m glad I paid for more Hz rather than for 4k resolution. Improves gameplay by making games run smoother. If your PC can run games at this much FPS then it makes a very noticeable difference compared to 60Hz. Can’t compare to 144Hz as I never used or owned one. Although it isn’t G-Sync certified yet, it does work with G-Sync. RGB on the back looks nice. The red “nipple” used to control the menu is a perfect idea. You can navigate through the menu easily…

I read many many reviews and was torn between the competing LG panel and this. Hardware unboxed gave the MSI panel a great review but coming from an LG 1080p IPS 144hz wide screen I didn’t think I would see much improvement in games or general, how wrong was I!
Breakpoint, BF5, Div2 all looked stunning and feel like I have been cheated for so long, why did I not do 1440P sooner!
I chose the MSI over the LG because of a few main reasons.
You never need to touch the screen to adjust, you can install the OSD app and adjust everything from your desktop.
The in built AI works with you at night turning down the blues to keep your eyes going for a much longer and later gaming session.
The aesthetics, it simply looks like quality rather than the LG’s much moaned about plasticky cheap finish, it looks and feels premium and so it should.
RGB might not be your thing so TURN it off! I have the rear monitor RGB set to red which looks amazing in the dark and never really been a rgb fan but couldn’t…
