The first thing I will note about this camera is that it was originally released in 2008 and even back then it was a very basic camera. The D60 has a 10.2mp sensor, which compared to modern camera is rather lacking. This is not to say the picture is bad, in well lit conditions it can be very good, you are just limited to the size you can either print of crop, due to the amount of pixels. Being a much older camera, with an APS-C sensor, the camera doesn’t operate well in low light conditions, you can raise the ISO but I doubt I would want to go higher than ISO 800, as you get noticeable grain (not pleasant grain) after that point.
Being an older beginning DSLR, the auto-focus isn’t great, it isn’t terrible but isn’t completely reliable with moving subjects, it also won’t be great in low light situations. Shooting speed isn’t great at 3fps but is usable.
A big issue with the camera is that it cannot autofocus with older Nikon lenses like the 50mm f/1.8D, though they will mount on the…

The camera snap awesome pictures all times, from early morning till sunset and more amazing photos in darkness as well. It didn’t reach my expectations since I thought it was capable of shooting videos but it cannot.
