I’ve tried to persevere with this mouse for 2 months now but have finally had to accept defeat and return it to Amazon.
Yes, it’s a great mouse, very comfortable but after only 2 days of receiving it I noticed it was not charging when I’d left it on the dock overnight. The feature I explicitly bought this mouse for.
It turns out that the metal charging prongs do not make a good connection with the mouse, there is a slight bit of play and wiggle when mated to the dock. You have to get the connection “just right” for it to charge.
I raised a support request with Razer, who ignored me for 3 weeks before replying to say clean the charge points with an earbud.
I’d already tried this from advice reading forums – for the contacts to be dirty after 2 days of use?
After 2 months of waking up to a no – charge mouse I gave up. I’m WFH due to Covid. I’ve put it on charge every night (as I always do), and sick of opening the software to monitor and babysit getting the connection just right – even…

I’ve struggled with this for several weeks, I’ve given up today and its going to landfill where it belongs.
Constantly jerks, cuts out or freezes. Constantly changing batteries.
I’m not impressed with any of the Razer stuff (separate review for keyboard – at least that works but why does it need an internet connection to work?) – but this is pure junk. Worst mouse I’ve ever had.

Hardware-wise this is a pretty good mouse. Resolution is nice and it’s very responsive (at least over 2.4GHz – haven’t tested Bluetooth). Definitely beats my old wired mouse. I’ve had it for about a month and use it roughly 12h/day, 5 days/week (work + gaming) and I’m still on the original battery
Big problem #1 – Laggy input in some cases
I have a fairly regular problem where the input gets incredibly laggy (unsuable for desktop applications laggy) if my screen resolution changes. This happens when I turn on my TV to use as an external monitor, or when I install a new game and it runs at the default resultion. The only fix is to reboot my PC. If it happened once it would be annoying but acceptable, but this happens several times a week
Bigger problem #2 – privacy
If you want to configure the mouse in any way (or view the battery level, etc, etc) you have to install Razer Synapse. There’s no way to run Synapse without registering for a Razer account. So now you’ve got an application…

Had to return this product. When it worked well it was great – it felt amazing and was very accurate but I had a lot of iussues.
First the battery – i know its a wireless mouse, but the battery didnt seem to last all that long. On top of that theres no warning when its about to die, it just goes. Anyone taking gaming seriously (which is most people who but a gaming mouse) will know how terrible that is
Secondly, the mouse would just stop working sometimes (presumably the wireless connection but no idea really). Also I was already having problems with double clicks and drags not being picked up accurately. Very disappointed as ive used razer stuff before and its usually great. Will be sticking to wired in future

If you think ยฃ150 for a mouse is insane then… youre right. However, its just amazing. Its almost worth it just for the ease of the charging dock which adds some rgb to your desk and its so useful. If im playing a game with controller, i pop my mouse on the dock and boom, instant charging, no cables. The mouse just fits into your hand perfectly, it just feels right. The mouse wheel has adjustable tension for either a super smooth feel or a tactile click with each scroll. The buttons on the side have a nice click to them aswell. The ‘sensitivity clutch’ button is really useful for you snipers out there, temporarily dropping your dpi to whatever youve chosen while holding it. My rbg brightness is set to 20% to preserve battery but it still pops and looks amazing. If you’re worried about latency then dont, i swear its faster than my previous razer mamba elite, wireless technology has came a long way and some tests show its actually better. The buttons are light enough to be instant…
