The wp8 pro Def has some nice features camera is better than the wp5 and the NFC is a very handy feature but that’s where it ends the battery life is laughable at best no where near the battery on the wp5 pro also the mini USB plug is a huge disappointment over the c type plug the wp5 has the c type stays plugged in where as the mini usb falls out constantly which if the battery life was good wouldnt be an issue but to watch the plug repeatedly fall out as I’m driving to my next delivery is frustrating to say the least and there could do with abit better grip to the phone had to buy a silicon cover to sort that where as the wp5 pro Is Def easier to hold onto so in summary it shouldn’t be called the wp8 pro but simply a wp8 as the battery life and plug constantly falling out when trying to charge completely let is down as any kind of work phone so overall is great for personal use but a complete letdown as far as calling it a work phone

ย I do a lot of outdoor activities like camping, sailing Canoeing Kayaking and when I get the chance snorkelling so I wanted a phone that could go anywhere with me. This one caught my eye with its larger screen and god specifications, so I decided to take the plunge and buy it. I was a little disappointed that wireless charging s not supported because it seems sort of wrong to keep removing the waterproof bung over the power socket to charge it. My disappointment was short lived though as the bung seems really robust and at the same time easy to flip open.
This device gave me my first look at Android 10 which I do rather like although on the surface it is quite similar to Android 9. There are some new features like a choice of search engine, the screen can go into mono mode at night and improvements to the way WiFi calling works.
The screen is superb and really responsive. I use my phone as an e reader and also to do quite a lot…

Regrettably, the phone comes without comprehensive operating instructions just a brief quick start guide . Moreover it is all but impossible to download a manual though agencies such as “Getanymanual”.
For this reason I would councel caution of anyone buyoingt his phone who is not conversant with Android 10 software.

Well, it is a value for money, but after a while, it keeps crashing and resetting the apps and turning off notification, so my partner has to go and keep changing it in the setting which he founds annoying. It should be waterproof but when it’s wet sound doesn’t work correctly, it is an issue for him.
It is his second phone reordered because we thought it was handset faulty, but it seems like all of them are the same.
The plus that the screen is big and phone is nice and chunky and he is not scared of dropping it and damaged it due to his work.๐๐งฑ Although, returned again. Bought diffrent model.

I have bought this phone it was working fine for a week then when I called people on the phone the people on the other side of the call could hear an echo even though none of us had the call on speaker , and after a month of using the phone I can now hear an echo from my side and their side , tried to contact them by email got no answer.

My father in law has a habit of breaking mobile phones, he is a tube bender machine repairist and tends to drop them around the machines. So far, one has gone into a die, one just got steel tubes dropped on it, and one even fell out of his pocket on a motorbike at 70mph, all of which broke, so i thought it was time to get him a rugged phone.
This one has, i can positively say, been tested thoroughly. It has actually had steel dropped onto it and fallen out of his pocket numerous times from a decent height and so far the worst thing on it is a slight scratch to the side buttons… invisible to most people and can only be seen on inspection.
The glass has stood up to all of this without breaking as well as being left outside in the rain accidentally whilst working on another project. If it was his old well known brand of phone it would be long since destroyed.
Performance wise, it stands up to all of his previous phones too, however this has a much better camera which is used for his…
