Does amazing things, bit heavy but you get a
Phone and Pad in one. Beautifully made buy a protective case, considering the price you donโt want to spoil it
Love the special layouts and features available when open and lots still when folded however if you have large fingers it is a little difficult to reach the (folded) corners..
the price will put many off if all they want is a standard mobile and I expect they will produce similar ones cheaper in due course but for me the โ2 in1โ concept is superb..

The Galaxy Fold is the best example of why foldable is the future of smartphones. Its 7.3-inch screen is built for productivity.
Samsungโs Super Fast Charging is the one thing weโre missing, and thatโs important for a phone with such a big battery.
There are six Samsung Galaxy Fold cameras, and they’re all technically the same as the five S10 Plus and four Note 10 cameras.

For a gen one product there’s no questioning it’s validity. Yes, the front screen appears to be quite small and a bit of a trade off, yes there’s a notch and yes the internal screen needs to be babyed in order to keep it free of blemishes, but there’s always a silver lining.
So the front screen is indeed rather small and unusually placed, however when embedded with the bundled carbon skin case, it doesn’t look half as bad and I surprisingly am quite enjoying the thinner aspect ratio and the ability to navigate the entire display with one thumb. It is safe to say I use both for an equal amount of time. It is also nice to be able to get a grip around the entirety of the device when folded, something nobody has been able to do with their phone for the best part of a decade.
The internal unfolded tablet display is obviously the showpiece and let me just say this thing gets looks, compliments and confusion from the uninitiated, so basically everyone at this point. Being able to hotswap…

I got this phone through EE and it is a wonderful device. I use it as a phone, tablet and Kindle all in one.
It is single-SIM. The crease is visible in the same way as a gentle fold in a sheet of paper. Doesn’t affect watching videos, writing a review or any app.
It is quite weighty compared to other phones. You will feel it in a pocket. It is a good size when closed and open although the small screen on the front is irritable to some. I have an S9+ as well. If I use the fold and then go to the S9+, the screen on the latter seems so tiny.
Cameras good quality and quality of films are excellent. Not into selfies but have tried all options on the phone and photos are good quality. Best to use the phone with the device closed.
Phone feels sturdy, but the screen is a tad fragile. Not suitable for kids as the screen will get scratched. I keep my phone closed when not in use to protect it.
No headphone socket. Need a quality small USB-C to headphone socket attachment and that works.
