Iโve hated every single protein powder Iโve tried. As a vegan who hits the gym 5/6 times a week my protein is super important to me.
Iโve only tried the vanilla and itโs really really nice! Smooth and tastes a bit like cake batter. It mixes well with powdered peanut butter too. Mixes to a thick consistency too, which I love and find more satisfying
I also like to mix with about 1/3 less water and chill and use as a pudding.
Plus 37g protein for really few carbs! No brainier!

This is my first vegan protein powder experience – I got chocolate flavour and mask the weird sweeteners with frozen spinach/bananna, raw cocoa, nut butter, chia/flax/hemp, and spirulina in whatever combo I fancy. It’s a good meal replacer and keeps you full for ages with no repercussions. I think I’m gonna try a pure protein blend and just add oats et al instead of this next time, it’s not a bad product it’s just artificially sweet for me – I work in a vegan cafe which uses no sweeteners in the shakes so my pallet is probably biased, haha I dunno the sweetness is odd maaaan ๐

Don’t be tempted by the price. This foul, wretched product has the kind of flavour that would be inflicted upon you as an ironic punishment in Hell if you liked strawberries a little too much in life. It tastes mostly like an old sock that briefly sat in a drawer next to a strawberry starburst.
Oh, and don’t believe the lie that is “34g per serving”. If you actually try to make a serving as recommended by the packaging, you’ll end up with something similar in texture to wallpaper paste, only thicker, stickier, and probably worse in flavour. In order to manage to choke down this abominable slime – well, first you’ll have to stir it for an hour, because conventional protein “shake” preparation results in something with more lumps than cheap porridge – you’ll need to make it with twice as much water, or half as much powder. Neither option is a good solution, however, since it leaves you drinking something half as despicable but for twice as long, as though your wishes for it to become…

We tried this protein powder based on the good reviews – pity we didn’t take more notice of the negative ones as it would have saved a lot of money – unfortunately we bought 3 x 2kg tubs. We have tried the chocolate and strawberry flavours but not opened the vanilla one. Both are unpleasant so we have tried adding various things like banana, frozen strawberries. Made either with water or almond milk did not improve matters.
However it is not just the taste that is the problem. Both of us felt really sickly afterwards and bloated too. Very unpleasant feeling which I now see has affected many other people too.
There is a slimy texture to the drink – maybe from the gum listed in the ingredients as that is the only other time we have ever come across that kind of slimy texture? Who knows. It is so bad we will have to throw it away which we have never done before as even the poor ones can be improved or added to better powders but not this one – nothing seems to improve it.
All I would say…

Been using this protein for sometime now, used to be on whey, but after using a bulk powder my gut no longer agrees with it, i wont go into details or the gainer i used.
It took me a while to find a decent well priced non dairy protein, but this one is perfect. i use the strawberry, tried the chocolate but it wasnt for me. I have two scoops a day and it lasts for about a month or so. If your like me and cant stomach dairy, or if you would prefer a non dairy based protein, i suggest this one.

Ever since I went vegan I’ve been looking for a protein powder that’s at least palatable. Previously I’ve had problems with clumping powder and generally just a weird taste – but not this time. This is seriously delicious and outperforms even the non-vegan powders I’ve had in the past. Thank god for this. Will definitely repurchase.

Yes taste abit grainy but if you are used to plant based milks etc it’s a similar aftertaste, & it mixes very well so not lumpy.
Beware though…. Tub says 45g serving & instruction says one level spoonful per 300ml water….However the spoon included is actually 100ml (g) when leveled. So it is very very thick! This isn’t very clear, they should include a 45g spoon and leave it up to the customer if they want 2 servings!
45ml isn’t very clear on side of spoon so you have to carefully measure it out.
So I have marked it down 1 star as it is such a ridiculous way of doing it, however the taste value for money & protein content is all brilliant I would buy again.
My fav way of taking….
50ml spoonful (with care! ๐)
350ml water
150ml almond/cashew milk
Ice
Shake alot & allow to sit for 2minutes
