When i originally bought this phone it was fantastic, but the screen slowly started to fail. In order to use the edges of the screen (eg letters Q or P on the keyboard and swiping down the quick menu at the top) I have had to use the phones ‘one handed’ feature which is becoming more and more difficult to activate. Also, from day one I have not been able to use the WiFi and Bluetooth at the same time, as the Bluetooth blocks the WiFi signal. Worst smart phone I have ever owned. I would highly recommend you do not buy this phone!

A very decent phone for the money, but do be prepared for endless or so it felt updates to software.
There is nothing wrong just keep accepting them, I suggest turning off mobile data for the first days you have the phone until the updates are done.
Sony does its updates one by one which means if there have been 10 since your phone left the factory you will update 10 times. However after day one the updates have stopped and phone is very user friendly now.
The camera is superb says 23meg pixel but my phone said 20, still great pictures and film as well.
Like the fact it comes with AVG to protect the phone.
The start up compared to my old phone is virtually instant from being turned off.
All in all a decent amount of features good ram 3 meg and good internal memory in around 300, which can be expanded with an SD card. Note there is no Finger print reader not sure why it is shown as a feature.
OK not in I phone territory but at £131 is a fraction of the prices Apple charge.

I use a phone for photos, messaging and calls.
This phone is terrible. As a means of communicating it works fine I guess, but be prepared to retype every second word and question the size of your perfectly normal thumbs.
As for photos… Don’t expect to capture anything moving and also you must hold your smile for 2 seconds as after pressing it takes a while to translate your command into an action.
This is a wonderful feature (NOT) particularly if you have an energetic 6 year old.
The flash is bizarre, I mean the light works but it makes the image cloudy. Clearly one for the ghost detectors in the world. Ha.
I’ve owned this a month. I’ve been tempted to smash it up.
Don’t buy it. Sell your soul and pay an extra 200 for something decent.

Unfortunately the phone I received could not connect to WiFi and Bluetooth simultaneously without one of them dropping out after a while. I had to restart the phone regularly to restore connectivity. The other thing to note is that some of the functionality of stock Android seemed to be missing compared to the Nexus 5X I owned before. The screen only allows four icons across the width whereas most other phones I have used will display five – I’m not sure if this is as a result of the lower screen resolution on this phone. The shape of the phone is not very easy to handle because of the square corners. I have replaced it with a Moto X4 which is problem free and feels like more of an upgrade to my previous phone.

I brought this phone only a few months ago. I have never been able to use it outside of WiFi. I have been back and forth with EE to fix the problem. They said it was the phone not the service. I sent to Sony who said they can not fix it even though I brought it only a couple of months ago due to the poor tampering of the product. They have advised there is TAPE and Glue where there SHOULDNT be!!!! I can not get hold of the company for their explanation and refund. Absolutely disgusting I have been scammed. Stay away. I have only put one rating as it wouldn’t let me post on a zero rating but personally zero.

I have had 4 Xperia handsets now due to changing of mobile contracts and I have loved every one aside this model! I have now replaced it with the Xperia XA1 Ultra which is find much easier to use. The XA1 has curved edges of the screen I assume to compete with the Galaxy model however this stops you from using the edges of your keyboard and makes ease very poor. I also had problems with keeping it connected to the WiFi and to Bluetooth. I have no idea why this fault occurred. I’d recommend the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra instead!

There are some ludicrous criticisms of this device floating around. Firstly: there is nothing wrong with the screen you would have to have very sharp eyes to spot the pixels and the colours are as vivid as they were on my S7 edge, also the touch screen is indistinguishable from a top end device’s. It’s not as fast as a high end phone but it handles double screening apps fine and also demanding processor tasks like Google earth well. It also feels really nice in the hand and generally build quality is pretty good. Amazing at the price and leaves me wondering why I spent 5 times as much for top end devices.

Basically. To start with they didn’t have the colour I ordered but I did in the end get the right one. Although the touchscreen is temperamental, the back panel is falling off and is was quite worn. Would not recommend using these guys. 1-2/10 doesn’t even connect to a network provider and I took their advice and factory rest the deification solving no issues. And I payed for a very good quality product. This doesn’t even classify as poor quality. Very very mis sold. Never use these sellers. Terrible service.
