We are delighted with this little fridge. We bought it to keep milk cold in a boardroom and it looks stylish sitting on top of a white gloss cabinet, it doesn’t look like a fridge!
It seems to be keeping milk and small bottles of water very cold but I did have to remove one of the shelves and one of the door shelves to be able to fit even small milk cartons.
There is a slight humming noise from the fridge, noticeable when the room is quiet but not disturbing.

Brilliant little fridge. I bought this for my son and daughter in law who were in hospital with heir newborn baby and had nowhere to keep food and drinks cold. It takes a bottle of wine if you remove the shelves. It is extremely quiet and looks really attractive. It will be great for camping when they finally leave hospital.

I tested this by leaving it running with a digital thermometer inside. The ambient temperature in the room was 23 degrees. After 30 minutes, the temperature inside the fridge had got down to 18 degrees. However I noticed a faint electrical burning burning smell.
I left it running for another 30 minutes, but during that time the temperature rose again until it was the same as the ambient temperature. The burning smell also increased until it was noticeable from 5 feet away.
I had the device plugged into mains, with the switch on the back set to AC 230v . The door was closed throughout the test, except briefly when I opened it to measure temperature.
I also noticed there was a gap in the back of the frame, which looks like a manufacturing fault. There appears to be slots for 2 fans, but only one was present.

Delivery: Free, took 48 hours.
Build quality: looks high quality, feel high quality with just some areas of cheap plastic.
Size: Very small, footprint is about A4 size. Will fit on most desks and large shelves.
Weight: Very light, easy to pick up especially with the handle.
Noise: only slight cooling fan noise. Not very loud and would not interupt sleep in a bedroom.
Temp: within 24 hours this unit was chilling my drinks down to about 5-6 degrees Celsius.
Regrets: None (so far), we love this fridge.

When I first plugged the Ultra 15 in, I was certain that it was broken. But happily I was wrong. Itโs just so quiet that it makes no more noise than the pvr sitting close by. It quicky cooled the interior down to about 5 Centigrade, where it has remained ever since. It looks neat sitting under a table in my living room.
So far itโs only holding a few soft-drink cans, water and three oranges but come the next day-long F1 schedule, it will be used for what I boight it for. Namely holding my sandwich lunch and any chilled snacks plus cold water and drinks.
Since buying the Ultra 15, I have also bought an Ultra 6 to hold cold water for my bedroom. This performs equally well, although it is a tad louder – but not enough that I canโt sleep though it.

We returned the item because it was too cold – made cans of pop explode and turned water bottles into ice. Therefore clearly well below the 5 degrees minimum advertised.
We queried this with the manufacturer and were advised that the fridge is designed to be used in a heated house environment with an ambient temperature between around 20-23 degrees C. We had this issue in our heated kitchen so I am unsure how this would be suitable for a caravan or car.

Update:
I just took a star off because this failed after just over a year – just out of warranty. Annoying, but having looked at all the alternatives on Amazon, it’s the one that suits my requirements best and is best value for its features. So I’m ordering another.
The instructions say it’s not intended for 24/7 use. So this time I’ll turn it off more frequently. I did do that occasionally with the old one but not very often. Maybe that contributed to it’s failure.
This fridge gets a puddle of water in it after a few days. Looking at reviews, this is a common complaint about mini fridges. I simply soak it up with a cloth.
Another down side is that in very hot weather (last summer’s heat wave) this mini fridge can’t cool very well. (Again, looking at reviews, this is a common problem with these mini fridges.) But it’s still better than having to drink water at sweltering room temperature. And nothing ever went off if I ate it within a couple of days.
