Advertised as G – Square plugs. British type. Supplied with 2 pin USA
HOWEVER Handbook states it is 110v and moulded plug supplied is =American market
The United Kingdom operates on 240 volts AC not 110 volts AC
This was to be a present, I examined item and found the problem before it was given

6month+ update drills burnt out meant to be hammer action and it still burnt out when being used to drill in to a brick wall

(When Brought) Works perfect I’ve got 2 of these drills there very good and get a lot in the box as well cheaper then buying everything separately and I only got 2 because the battery charger broke and both batterys dead out on last one

A really good drill but needed to order a power plug adaptor as it comes with a 2 pin (usa) not UK 3 pin plug. This should have been more obvious or come with the needed adapter

Great value for money, plenty of power and the hammer works well. All round a great buy, especially with an extra battery thrown in. The bits are poor quality, I’d invest in a good Bosch bit set if you haven’t got a good bit set. The battery is a little narrow at the base which means it doesn’t like standing up much but that’s a very minor criticism. A great buy for the home DIY’er.
UPDATE… Amazon issued a full refund in respect of this drill. Be careful with the charger, after only being removed from the socket on two occasions, the plug self destructed. Both metal pins have completely come away from the inside of the charger. Dangerous, cheap quality charger has spoilt an otherwise half descent buy.

Got this as my wife wanted her own drill and she found my dewalt too heavy. It’s lightweight, hasn’t struggled with any of the light diy household tasks it’s been used for and comes with a decent case and selection of useful accessories. I do think you could buy a similar quality drill set and box of assorted drill bits cheaper if you looked around or bought them separately, and the battery charge life isn’t brilliant but this is a generally nice little set for what it is.

Avoid at all costs! I plugged it and the pin was stuck inside the socket! Lucky I had turn the socket off before removing it, who knows if I could’ve gotten a big electrical accident caused by it!

I wouldnโt earn my living with the device. The plastic mouldings are almost โtoyโ quality.
However as a diy tool it is fine. All the functions are present and work. It is powerful and well balanced.
Good value especially the dual battery version.
