Was looking to buy a black and decker but this at same price offered more. 2 batteries and a box full of accessories make this great when working away from your normal workshop. It’s a great portable tool kit. On using the screwdriver first I used setting 1, it was very weak and wouldn’t turn a screw, I thus put on setting 2 and it worked fine. I’ve been using it now on a building project for last 3 days and drill and screwdriver set on 2 has worked fine, with good battery life.

Just received this kit , for less than £50 I wasn’t expecting much.
Firstly , I am not going to use it professionally so I wasn’t looking to spend much, second , I looked at the other sub £50 drill sets , this one appears to be the only one with 2 batteries even without all the other bit and bobs in the box 5 star on price
The bits and bobs adequate for small jobs and nicely keep together in a sturdy box not sure why a pair of mittens in the box would have made more sense to have small set of eye sheids
Drill sits well in the hand and balanced
if it was any lighter I would have had concerns about quality however the overall quality of the drill itself feels good time will tell about the longevity of the product
there is a led light and battery indicator,
has bonus of 2* 21v batteries giving it a bit more grunt with the spare ready to go, again time will tell if batteries are going be good which is the main reason I bought this kit as it has two
Highly recommended perfect for home use…

I needed a portable DIY toolbox when visiting my sons’ houses – to sort the myriad of small DIY tasks which youngsters these days never have the time/energy (or skills!) to handle. This DIY box set is perfect for the job. The enclosed items actually stay in place when box is closed/carried there is even enough space to augment the kit with my own favourite tools (electric screwdriver/tester, ratchet screwdriver set, pencil, steel rule etc.).
I am now known as the “House Doctor” – with my own Mr. Fixit box of tools.

Arrived yesterday well packaged. Nice case and all but two sockets stayed in place when opened. Charged batteries and used this morning to remove 3/4″ cross-head screws screws from a fence panel that had been blown down in the wind. All was going well until I pulled the screwdriver away from the latest screw and the screw bit stayed in the screw head. No problem these things happen. Retrieved screw bit and placed back in chuck. Chuck being completely open. Tried to close chuck – solid! Could neither open or close. Maybe I am unlucky and got a dodgy one. Back to hand held screwdriver.

Fine for lightweight duties (no hammer function so forget masonery drilling). Good selection of drill bits and screwdriver heads and a handy flexidrive for those awkward to reach spots. Two batteries is handy so you can always have one fully charged which was the critical factor in making my buying decision. The small light at the front is also handy in those dark corners.

Works very well and batteries last well. The included assessories are very useful although the drills only come in three sizes but there are at least wood, brick and countersink types. It is so handy having all the tools together in a case instead of having to search for them in various cupboards or drawers. Recommended for home DIY etc.

Please only buy if your looking for a lightweight power drill for basic DIY. This is a long term review. Bought Apr’19 and I’ve used it on/off since then. Biggest job have had to do with it was install a large metal sheeting over my shed this just managed with the drilling through metal, now tho six months old the chuck is starting to lose its grip. Drill bits keep falling out. Next time I’ll just buy a proper one

At first I was driving screws in and that was fine but when i put a drill bit in it just slipped in the chuck and left the bit in the hole and I had to use pliers to get them out. I am renown for my strong grip when shaking hands so if I cant tighten the chuck then no one can. This is a serious flaw and not one I have experienced before, having owned many drills.
