Needed a backup to ensure resilience when wfh. I had expected complications, but I was wrong. Plugged pre paid data sim in. Turned on. Had more reliable than fixed Wi-Fi.
Excellent fit, could go a size down. –
TP-link was easy to set up, plug & start. Antenna works with this, very pleased with item.

I am already an owner of this device but I recently bought another one for my parents. They are very happy with it and since I am essentially their tech support person I am happy with it too because it’s very reliable.

I bought this router for my caravan to use with a SIM card. Recently returned from a few weeks in France. Bought a PAYG SIM over there with a load of data, registered and activated as your supposed to, just plug the SIM card in the router, connect to it and you have a WIFI connection on the move.
Speeds were about 9Mb/s upload and download. Was able to stream Amazon Prime in HD with no buffering. It never dropped out, every time I moved to a new campsite, it picked the nearest transmitter and worked perfectly. Itโs just like using the router that you have at home.
The network antennas seem pretty good. I was in a poor mobile signal area where my phone would sometimes have no reception at all, but the router always kept working.
Really impressed with this router. I did have high expectations that it should work like this and it certainly did the whole time I was there.
It literally is plug and play. Put the SIM card in, switch it on and it does the rest. Fantastic.

I recently upgraded my home network setup with the TP-Link AC1200 4G+, and I am thrilled to share my experience with this outstanding device. This router is a true game-changer, and it has quickly become an essential part of my daily life.
First and foremost, the AC1200 4G+ delivers lightning-fast internet speeds. Whether I’m streaming 4K videos, playing online games, or video conferencing for work, the router ensures a seamless and lag-free experience. The combined power of 4G+ and AC1200 technology is a winning combination, providing stable and high-speed internet connectivity even during peak hours. Living out in the sticks I was lucky to get 1Mbs from my โbroadbandโ provider, now with an unlimited SIM I am getting between 50 and 70 Mbs from a 4G signal, upload speeds seem OK to and I havenโt had any call difficulties with Teams.
The setup process was a breeze, thanks to TP-Link’s intuitive interface and user-friendly instructions. Within minutes of unboxing, I had the router up…

App, out the box, follow. Insert sim and off you go. Simple as that. I had good 4g coverage, so check before you buy. Mine was just a temp set up, but I can now use this with a LAN from another modem now. Two for one you might say CAT 6 2.4 and 5g.

Bought this to replace a more expensive Huawei CPE Pro that was having drop-outs. It’s only day two but I’m getting about 20% more speed down and about 40% more up, faster ping and a more stable connection. So easy to set up and the app is quite intuitive. Strong wi-fi range too, although I’m using it with a Deco mesh system (Archer as the router, Deco as access point). Really happy with it. If you don’t need/get 5g, this is the most bang for your buck.

This was so easy to set up, we have a property without a phone line so no broadband. We were told about this portable router & weโre also given details of a non contracted monthly sim to use with it . Up & running with in 30mins just plug it in, insert the sim & hey presto. And weโre not tech savvyโฆ.
