So, you order casserole, and you get “standard” jelly version. You should also note that these are 85g, not 100g. As soon as I unpacked, today, I noticed a difference in weight. Not shown on the front of the box like the previous batch, see pic, you have to look underneath. Sneaky that, a 15% price increase but not evidenced. Pays to check every time.

I don’t know what was in this box but it smells horrible. It’s winter time and you can’t keep cat food outside, however it’s not possible to keep this product in the house neither as whol house stunks now. I thought it’s something to do with box and emptied the box and trough it but No! All sachets are stinking. I never experienced something like this. I’m planning to wash sachets if I can rid of smell.

I have three cats. Two of them refuse to touch these pouches. They sniff the food and walk away and then proceed to meow at me like I am trying to starve them!! I always feed them Whiskas and they don’t seem to have a problem with the boxes I buy in stores (same type)!
One of them eats these pouches but that’s because he is greedy and will eat anything. Now either there is a problem with these pouches or my other two cats are snobs and don’t like that I tried to get a good deal during Prime day.

Box arrived on time. Gave my two cats a sachet. One of the cat was loving it while the other was hesitating and only had few bits. Within couple hours, the cat that ate a lot had the worst diarrhoea ever. He had poo stuck all over his backside, tail and legs. We had to help him and clean him up with water. It was really bad. I stopped feeding from that box immediately.

After reading some reviews here, I have a cautionary tale.
I put the pouches in the cat food cupboard. After a few days I noticed a funny smell in the cupboard which is always cleaned out before each batch of pouches is put in. The cat had already eaten about 10 of the pouches and was not too keen after always being a fan of these. I got all of the pouches out and there was a stinky mess over many of the pouches, and my hands!!! On closer inspection I noticed several of the pouches were burst or were open along the edges. I remembered that one pouch I previously gave him had a particularly strong smell and dismissed it as the fish. My beautiful Ginger boy went downhill quickly resulting in a 3 day stay at the Vet Hospital due to severe gastroenteritis. Cost of £900, yeah read it again!!! Lucky I’m insured. He was sent home with a cannula in his leg so I could take him back for further steroid infusions to heal his damaged gut. He doesn’t eat other things and doesn’t go out. The vet…

DO NOT BUY PLEASE. This is not cat food , this is POISON . Is the worst thing wich i saw in my entire life. I regret so much because i bought this cheep food thinking is a good deal . I nearly killed my cat with this poison. After the first couple days I’ve seen straight away massive changes with everything about my cat attitude, bad mood , ill and sems to be very addicting as well making him acting crazy and loudly , things which i haven’t seen before on him . In the end of the day after I’ve seen what i done i opened all 4 different flavours food bags to find out all 4 of them where completely the same flavour wich is not even a flavour , probably sintetic processed “something” beacuse that wasn’t meet , all 4 of them being completely the same , no colour , no smell , nothing. I never done this kind of reviews , I don’t want to hurt nobody but this is horrible , if you care about you cat PLEASE DON’T BUY. This was a good lesson to make me buy good quality organic natural food from…

Our cats had intermittently been turning their nose up at this food but as they are animals we put it down to fussiness so they will eat when they are hungry. However the pouches in the last last batch they won’t touch, on the odd occasions when they have tried it they have been sick within an hour. It was it is obvious there is something not right with the food as our cats suddenly started begging for food, which they have never done, as they were starving yet still wouldn’t touch the Whiskas. There is clearly a quality issue with the product so my questions would be how is this food purchased (is it substandard sell off) or how has it been stored (too hot/cold) as it appears to be the real product and is in date? Either way the subscription has been cancelled and the food will be returned or binned. Cats are happy now, bought food from the shop and they ate it all. Lesson learned it’s cheaper for a reason!
Amazon Customer –
The cats have been eating Whiskas for years – either poultry in jelly or poultry in gravy. Again we’ve been buying Whiskas from Amazon for some time, without issue, until now.
We bought two boxes from this seller and both boxes of 84 contain the wrong food pouches. Having checked with Whiskas, these boxes actually contain Whiskas Pure Delight Poultry – very different to Whiskas poultry chunks in jelly, hence each pouch being considerably lighter in weight.
So, we received 168 pouches of the wrong food, in the correct boxes, whilst being stung for less meat content per pouch!
On top of this, the cats won’t touch this food. There’s something fundamentally different about the recipes used in these pouches. You’d think poultry is poultry. As a test, we bought Whiskas Poultry in jelly from the local supermarket. Firstly it looked as expected, smelt as expected, and the cats devoured the food within minutes. Says it all.
We’re no longer buying our food from Amazon. Just can’t trust the…
