I’m honestly blown away with this phone, I have for the longest time gone with flagships for my phones. My last phone was a Huawei p30, I can’t get over just how good the camera is on this note 10 pro! Blows my p30 away, don’t get me wrong it’s a good camera the p30 but it was hit and miss a lot. The 120hz display is really nice and makes a big difference, I’m now just frustrated I spent so much on previous phones

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S10 plus in 2019, cracked the screen and didn’t fancy dishing out a grand for another flagship.. so I opted for this Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro… I can honestly say it is a better phone, than my Samsung which was the best phone in the world a mere 2 years ago….
Now I know the Xiaomi won’t get as good a benchmark and it’s chipset isn’t as fast on paper.. but the user experience is much better and regardless of what it says on paper, it seems as fast and as smooth and as bright. The side fingerprint reader is far superior to an onscreen one.. the battery life is better, the screen is just as good and smooth indoors and almost as good outdoors.
There are more features and setting, even the camera has more features… It is amazing how the difference 2 years can make.. I would highly recommend this phone.. With the exception of heavy game users, I am not one, so I cannot speak on gaming experience, although YouTube reviews say it is adequate.

I pre-ordered this last week, 2 hours after it was released on Tuesday. It arrived on Saturday, 10 days earlier than promised and £17 cheaper at £233 for the 6+128GB model. Thanks Amazon, great service, excellent value, price is now £269.
All the review sites were giving this phone 4.5-5 Stars. They are not wrong. It’s a great phone for the price. It has a Dual SIM slot AND a dedicated MicroSD Card slot on a single tray. The SD Card slot is not mentioned in the product spec here at Amazon nor on Xiaomi.UK site, but it’s there as per reviews. £18 for a Sandisk128GB MicroSDXC card.
Seamless transfer from my old Motorola G4 Plus to the Note 10 Pro, controlled by the 10 Pro, via Bluetooth to transfer my account, apps and data etc. Going from 16GB to 128GB of internal storage is liberating, though the same apps in Android 11 seem to be between 4 and 10 x the size they were in Android 7. So around 100 apps + Android takes up about 23GB of internal storage. Programmers these days don’t seem…

I love this phone, it can do everything a flagship can do at a very affordable price. I got this at the early bird price, which made this phone even more of a bargain.
So why the 4 stars? Well, there are a few reasons:
1. The speed. before this phone, I had the Mi 10t Lite. Which I got on Black Friday, so was also at a discounted price. coming from a phone from last year I was expecting similar speeds as the key difference between this phones chip and the mi10tlite is 5g. This phone comes with a Snapdragon 732, the Mi10t lite comes with a 750G. The speed is felt the most when opening apps, or clicking photos. It’s not a deal-breaker, but I’m not sure how future proof this would be. This phone would have been perfect(ish) if they had used the 750G or better chip. (inside the budget bracket).
2. The software. You will either love or hate the MUI interface of this phone. I don’t mind it much. But what does annoy me is the inconsistencies and how in some apps things look fine and others…
