I am now discovering this has been sold with a lie. Windows 10 is not ‘installed’ it is a 3-month volume activation and will simply expire at the end of those 3 months. Fixing this is proving to be a long and complicated business and looks like it will involve a full clean install of Windows after buying a new licence! Amazon are putting me in touch with the seller in the hope they will fix it.
My original review just after I got it:
Arrived in good time and simple to start. Looks like a fast, clean entry-level laptop.
Quibbles:
a) It has a non-UK keyboard with @ and ” swapped, # instead of £ and ~ instead of ¬, and no £ or ¬ anywhere. This should be stated for sales on a UK website. This is a minor inconvenience, but coupled with an unnecessarily cramped layout, using just half of the available surface and no gaps between keys, it’s irritating for experienced users.
b) The power cord is very short, at just 90cm. This makes it awkward to use while on charge.
c) The software setup is out…

This laptop for the price is a fantastic machine, and it comes with software loaded on it, and might I add not what I would consider to be bloatware, operating system of windows 10 professional, fantastic, very pleased indeed with my purchase.

Is what is says.. Thin and light. I’m an entry level user and for me the screen resolution, processing speeds and functionality re all as good as I could want. One of my readons for choosing this particular Notebook was its Bluetooth capability.
I did have some confusion in trying to receive Bluetooth files. The Amazon support team spent a long and patient time with me, trying to resolve the issue, but had to finally refer me back to the vendor… Who told me this notebook will only connect to keyboards, printers, etc and phone data is only by cable.
After some further Internet research, I found better guidance and now have full, two way Bluetooth capability between the Notebook and my mobile.
I accept that I am inexperienced, but I feel the manufacturer may have been giving me rhe brush off with their reply.

You know what? Considering the price, its not a bad laptop at all. Its a reasonable spec for the price bracket. Ive used it mostly for Office and internet browsing, and its got enough memory that it wont be rendered useless at the next Windows update. The screen is a decent standard and the camera does the job. It does have a US keyboard layout which isnt on the description (although a few people mentioned in other reviews) and the keypad feels a little flimsy. But for the price, its a good buy, and Im very happy with it

I was disappointed that I did not receive a UK keyboard. I lt would have been helpful if this was mentioned. The sound system is also rather bad quality.
