Worked really well, right out of the box. Only one update needed from MS Windows to get it up to date, so it must have had a pretty new image on it when it was made and shipped. The video output is HDMI x 2, which threw me, as I had only used VGA or DGI, but it works well. The HDMI cable did not come with the system, but did come with the HP monitor I bought at the same time. Front connections are USB2(I think, might be 3) USB C and an SD card reader. Runs well, even with the 8GB RAM. I had a higher end 15 Gb PC before, and honestly even with the 2.9 GHZ intel iS chip, I haven’t noticed any real speed loss. My only grip is that the fan is a bit noisy, and sounds like a jet spooling up when it’s under load.

Lack of written instructions made my life difficult. Poor dvd drive – clicks open a out 2 cm then you need to pull it out manually – cheap. I expected better for nearly £600.

Wouldn’t start after a month. Wasted all the setup time. Not enough SSD memory so slow to start and slow to load apps. Generally an old fashioned sub-standard over-priced option.

This pc was NOT AS ADVERTISED it was suposed to have a one tb hard drive but it only had a 500gb drive so it was sent back for a refund

as per a previous review – the hard drive is half the advertised size. What a waste of time.
the case says 1TB hard drive but when you switch it on the hard drive is 466GB

First time seriously let down by Amazon. Different, inferior spec to what was advertised., maybe palmed off with an older model. I was given a partial refund but I could have got a better model for that price anyway at another store – it was not enough. They offered a full refund if I sent it back, but after spending hours setting it up (and the issues only coming to light towards the end of this process), I just couldn’t face it. So I’m stuck with it. Avoid!

Very disappointed and item returned. Cheap build with poor CD-ROM. 1Tb hard drive formatted to only give 490Gb storage. I was unable to activate W10 Home despite Microsoft and Acer invention.
Having used Reset three times and after installing MS Office the machine took over 2 minutes to boot.
I have now purchased the current model from Acer at a fractionally higher price it comes with 1Tb of SSD storage and upgraded software.
