Purchased the watch due to being able to download music to the watch and save taking the phone out when running. After spending hours on you tube trying to figure out how to set this function up. Could not do it. I have a I phone 12 . spoke with tech support and they just send links showing fixes on you tube, same things already seen. no good.
Will use my phone and not the watch.
I would think the watch is more than adequate for those not wanting the music function.

This amazfit smart watch is perform well. the quality of screen is very smooth and belt is very comfy. itโs work well and track while sleep. This watch gives a luxury looks on hand. most importantly is a long lasting battery life.

Bought for ability to play music with earbuds whilst outdoor running, without need to take phone, unfortunately outdoor Bluetooth range seems limited to about 30cm and couldn’t listen to music! This is a massive downside for me, but watch has so many other great features, as well as being very light, comfy to wear and great looking.
Also the lack of available extra watch faces (from the app store) is disappointing – they work on Gtr but not on Gtr 2!
HR monitor seems good and accurate, gps is great and mic plus speaker is useful.
Looks s though the watch has been released outside of China with a lot of limitations of use, but is built to support them (NFC and Alexa support). Maybe they’ll be activated one day???
Be nice if they sort the outdoor Bluetooth issue also.

Love this watch after exchanging from a fit bit which had died. You get a lot of functions for your money and itโs looks great on the wrist. Links in to Strava and so far has accurately record my runs, bike rides and walks.
Sleep functions gives you a huge amount of info. Health functions link nicely into IPhone app. Bit of a faff uploading music took me a while to work that out but once done it works well with my Bluetooth ear buds.

A great watch for the price….Unless you mainly use it for daily step counting.
It doesn’t collect stop start step paces at all until 10 steps per start. It can easily miss thousands of steps a day so is next to useless.
Everything else it does is first class. They need to adjust the steps algorithm and then it will be up there with the best in it’s class.

Good that can you can change watch faces using iOS but you cannot upload any music at all if you sync your music via pc or laptop etc, this wont work unless you have music on iCloud I believe so I sent it back, its no good for me if I cant run without using my phone.

I ordered this as I have the GTR and love it but this has music storage and the ability to answer calls directly from it, and loved that you can download loads of additional faces from amazfit watch face app unlike the GTR where you can only download one at a time. I had this for approximately 3 weeks and bought a metal strap and it looked amazing, then one night it seemed to turn itself off and started going through the set up screen then buzzed and started the whole process over and over again and even long pressing couldn’t turn it off and it was still doing it the morning after and even when I went to return it it was still doing it so generally really dissapointed so now just waiting for Amazon to return money.
