Surprised by how good this thing is!
We have an oil fired Arga oven which is quite a chore to fire up just for a saucepan so I bought this to supplement and itโs fantastic, it heats up in an instant, gets insanely hot and is easy to control.
Only a couple of negatives in my experience; the temp goes up and down by 20c with each button press and sometimes you canโt quite find the right temp.
Secondly thereโs a vent grill along the back of the unit which is very low meaning if any liquid splashes onto the surface you have this placed on it will get in to the electronics.
I spilled a moderate amount of stock and it got inside and fried the circuit. Why they made the vents open at surface level I donโt know, seems like a bit of a design faux pas!
I did however order a replacement as theyโre so good, Iโll just have to not be clumsy.

This is in my kitchen instead of a built in hob. It is brilliant.
I like the temperature mode (for liquidy foods) and the power mode (for thicker/solid foods). Easy to clean. If I need more surface I just unplug it and move it out of the way. I also like that the rings are completely independently controlled.
If I want to cook outside I just pick it up and take it outside with an extension lead.

Havent had it long, but it is easy to use and has become indispensable.
I bought a newbuild house with a 4 ring gas hob! so archaic!. having had ceramic since late 70’s, halogen in the early 2000’s and induction from 2010, a gas hob with knobs that are SO HARD to clean was a pain. This little beauty sits on top of my ignored gas hob just now and will still stay with me even after I can get the gas hob removed and a 4 area induction hob fitted…(no hurry now!)
BRILLIANT!! highly recommended, but dont expect it to work with a straight side 16cm pan. Any bigger just perfect.

First off, it looks GOOD. Blends into my work area very well (I have had mine fitted into the worktop). Controls are straightforward and easy and it basically does what you would expect – it heats things up. I got a new set of pots and pans for it and all is good.
This is my first time cooking on an induction hob (personally prefer a gas hob) but I am impressed so far so for now, I am happy as it does what I expected and it does it well.. just need to get it fitted into the work surface for a nice neat finish..

This is a really nice looking two ring hob if you don’t want a full 4 to 5 burners. It fits in to the space I had for slot in 560mm gas cooker very nicely sitting on a granite top butchers bloc/ kitchen work station. Enough space to leave a small pot or kettle behind it on the worktop when not in use, or to keep a few utensils. Completely smooth top for cleaning so very easy.
The controls are easy to see once the hob is plugged in and turned on though if you rely on touch it would be difficult as all lit under the hob surface. Simple up and down arrows for temperature and for time control.
I use a small to medium kettle on the hob and it will boil enough water for 2 regular size mugs in 1 minute which is much better than my previous gas burners.
With reference to other reviewers’ comments about noise level: it sounds about the same as an oven fan so not completely silent but not loud either. The fan doesn’t run for long once the ring turns off.
Love that I can heat pans on a timer and…

This is fantastic to cook on, a little noisy as far as induction hobs go but very powerful, quick to respond and very adjustable.
There are only two reasons I have found not to like this product – if your pans are induction compatible, you may find that they’re actually just aluminium pans with a steel plate in the bottom that makes them induction compatible. If that’s the case, this hob will only pick up the largest ones as being induction suitable, and will refuse to work with smaller pans.
Also, below 800W, the hob switches itself on and off in a cycle so as to simulate cooking at a lower heat. This is fine, but may burn delicate cooking.
Other than that it is a truly fantastic hob for the price that works brilliantly.

Nice large cooking area takes two decent pan sizes. Not particularly noisy. Instant control of heat (better than gas in a way but of course it cycles on and off to create the level selected). You can set the heat in watts (very good) or you can set the pan’s base temperature (i.e. temperature controlled) BUT you are limited to the stepped temperatures provided and, unfortunately, they go 60degC to 240degC in 20deg stages so you have 80degC and then 100degC. What a shame that there’s nothing in between so that you could use the temperature mode for simmering which is probably the main, if not the only, reason for wanting to control the pan temperature.
