I bought this to use with my MacBook Pro which I have partitioned with OSX and Windows 10 via Bootcamp. I wanted to be able to play PC games with as good image quality as possible and the graphics card in my MacBook is AMD so this seemed like an excellent choice to be able to use FreeSync at 75hz. The supplied DisplayPort cable is full size only so I had to buy a separate miniDisplayPort to DisplayPort cable for a fiver. Once connected the monitor was recognised immediately under OSX and image quality was crisp, colour balance excellent and there were no dead pixels.
After booting into Windows 10 the monitor was also recognised and installed with the standard Windows drivers. To enable the full 75hz Freesync capabilities however, you need to download the driver from the AOC website or from the supplied CD. The installation of this driver is a tad fiddly as you need to disable driver signing via a console command, reboot into a driver test mode, install the driver then re-instate…

So…
(Right Monitor) The monitor is fine. It’s actually great for the price too. Colours are vivid, the menu to change the brightness, contrast etc. is easy to navigate once you get used to it. You can completely modify the screen to make it look how you want it to look.
However… It’s locked to 60fps and NOT 75fps. The way to do this is for Nvidia GPU’s is to go into the Nvidia control panel and enter the “change resolution” option in the menu. From there, scroll down to PC, not FULL HD, and you can change from 60Hz to 75Hz. From there you can also go into the “Change desktop colour settings” and you can play around with the Brightness, contrast, etc. in a bit more depth and ease. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to do these things with an AMD GPU.
Anyway, the screen is great ESPECIALLY for playing PS4, Xbox One or Switch games. (Note: The pictures taken aren’t 100% accurate. They are slightly more whitewashed. It’s A LOT more clear in person)

The monitor is exactly what I wanted – a high productivity, high-frequency display with 21-22 inches to look at. I am not fond of overly large monitors, so finding these tech specs at this size was what initially brought me to the product.
While I cannot comment on the freesynch options of the monitor, as I do not own the right GPU for this, the monitor is a great companion for my gaming sprees allowing excellent manoeuvrability throughout.
Fixing the brightness is probably my biggest issue as I cannot darken the display enough only by using the hardware itself, so I advise downloading and using all accompanying drivers to manage the full spectre (if you’re not too lazy).
The monitor came packed with a suitably long HDMI cable, sound and video cords, UK power plug and a software disc. I read that not all sellers provide all cables, so I was more than pleased when I found the whole assortment in the box.
Overall, this is a good LED monitor if you’re looking for a budget addition to your…

If you are looking for a well priced 1080p 144HZ gaming monitor, then look no further. The AOC G2460PF boasts a very competitive price tag for a 144hz 1080p freesync monitor. I managed to pick this up for a very low price of £169.99, however this item usually hovers around the £220 price range, which is a decent amount lower than other 144hz 1080p panels. Upon using the item for a while I feel I can now give a fair review and list out some pros and cons of this item
**Pros**
-Great price
-Simplistic yet sleek design
-Freesync
-2 built in USB slots on the side of the panel is a nice bonus
-144hz refresh rate is game changing
-Comes with cables included (Displayport, HDMI, VGA, Audio)
-Lots of viewing angles and easily height adjustable
**Cons**
-Pretty bleak colour: This is a TN panel so this is to be expected. Changing settings can help but overall color clarity is average
-Brightness settings are way too high, and it’s hard to find a decent middle ground without sacrificing…

No problem so far. This screen is good.
Edit: PLEASE READ THIS
Still 5 stars but I wish I knew it before!
If you want freesync to work over 60 fps (and have a vsync at 75hz) you have to install the beta driver of the screen (and start windows in test mod to allow unsigned drivers)!
