First impressions are good. My son is happy. Design is slick. The handling is nimble. Operation is very quite and so you would expect given it is Tiger Lake 11th Gen. Start up and set up is very easy. Pleased with the purchase. Thank you Amazon for a great price.

This is my first Asus Laptop.
I specifically chose this version on account of it’s AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor which is proving to be fast in operation.
First impression of the laptop, apart from it’s all silver colour, is it’s very rigid construction which probably accounts for it’s weight.
The power button is rather strangely set in the side of the chassis .
Set up is straight forward particularly with regard to ‘Windows Hello’ which so far has proven to be fast, and accurate, even in subdued lighting.
The fans, when they do activate, are whisper quiet.
The keyboard lighting has three levels of adjustment, and the highest level is very bright.
All in all, while it is not a cheap product, it does represent very good value for the price.

I did a lot of research before purchasing another laptop. My laptop keys had stopped functioning. So it was time for a new upgrade.
Although this is not a budget laptop, and is pricey. It runs windows 10. 16 gig of RAM/memory, you need at least 16 gig to run Win10.
Shutdown and start up are pretty fast. Smooth sleek design. Graphics are pretty good too. Standard HDMI, 2 USB-C, thunderbolt technology, 1 USB. 500gig storage. No CD/DVD drive, but Asus do an external drive. Touch screen is perfect for me as a disabled adult to use. Can be used as a tablet PC no issues. Battery life is good but could be a little better.
Am I happy with my purchase? Of course. Would I recommend the laptop, of course.

I’ve been looking for a device combining the performance of my desktop, working with Python and R for various large data tasks, with some of the mobility of a tablet for reading books or taking work outside, with an outside hope of replacing pen and paper for taking notes,
The Zenbook has the grunt for python and R and is a passable if slightly unweildly surface to read from, The main issue that stops this device being everything I hoped is the screen brightness, it’s poor even on maxed settings, with battery saving options disabled. which limits it’s utility to indoors.
Note taking is still a hard no from me on this device after trying all but the paid apps nothing feels natural your mileage may vary on that though.
If you like me were looking to increase your mobility, it will get you from your office to your living room, maybe it will get you to a coffee shop but it won’t let the leash out any further than that.

Purchased as part of prime deal ยฃ150 off. Missing parts possibly secondhand too! Tried to get a replacement but told I would have to pay higher price by Amazon customer service. Item returned. A complete waste of my time. I will be closing my Amazon Prime now as this was the last straw! Amazon and some of its sellers are just taking the mick out of its loyal prime customers. Sellers are selling seconds on their Prime days, other items just dont work or are asian sizing or are just shoddy and cheap. Its a shame for the decent sellers who will loose their regular customers, this seller is not a decent seller. Amazon customer services make out their ‘hands are tied’ which is bull. Buyer Beware!!!

I opine I did not realise that in “tablet” mode, the keyboard was on the reverse of the screen with no enclosed means of covering it, so holding it I found in my opinion awkward and it was returned. Later bought an Asus zenbook instead.

Very good alternative to Microsoft Surface Book. A bit on the pricy side, but you get a lot from it. The pen works very well, comes with a really modern case, and jas a metal shell, rather tham plastic. The kne issue this causesis the weight, as it’s quite heavy for a new generation laptop. When using the pen, the touch screen can be difficult to handle, as I tend to rest my hand on the screen, and that can cause the screen to use that as touch. Battery life is also good when using simple applications, but heavy software can use up the battery within 3-4 hours, understandably.

Absolutely love it.
Ordered as a gift, receiver is over the moon.
It bends 360 which picture does not show, all the way to make it like a tablet. You can choose on screen if you prefer tablet view too which is awesome. Comes with pen and painting program installed. And 15 days free antivirus. Good response to touch, nice keyboard, gentle buttons perfect for long nails typing. Battery lasts a very long time impressed. The only minus is that it does not have a changeable european cable for travelling.
