Arrived promptly but I didn’t unwrap them for 3 months as they were for my B&B and we’re closed due to Covid. I’ve just put them in place now to find the door doesn’t close properly. the plastic door interior clashes with the plastic interior of the fridge. On inspection I thought I’d just need to adjust the hinges but the door side of the hinge is riveted so there’s no give there. So I’m probably left with the only option but to damage the inside of the fridge in order to allow the door to close firmly. I can only imagine that when the thing was made and found to be faulty they chose an overseas address like mine knowing it’s a bit of hassle to do the return. As it happens I’m now too late to return anyway. So just beware. Check any shoddy workmanship. The electrics of the fridge seem ok. It’s just the fault in the assembly line is my gripe

I had this fridge for about a week. It was placed just a couple of feet from my bed and it did not make a sound the entire time I had it. This is because the fridge is thermoelectric.
Thermoelectric coolers operate according to the Peltier effect. This effect creates a temperature difference by transferring heat between two electrical junctions, which is how the fridge gets cold. This is also why the fridge is completely silent, as compared to a regular fridge which occasionally generates noise by the coolant and compressors carrying out their functions.
Unfortunately, while the fridge is very quiet, the items inside do not get very cold, even on the coldest setting, which was a dealbreaker for me. I really wanted to keep the fridge because it was so quiet but even items which were stored in the fridge for 24-48 hours were “chilled” at best, and never really got cold.
This could just be me being picky, but for me it didn’t really justify the price-point or space it was taking up. I…

This is a good small fridge but its internal space is smaller than stated . its actually 25 litres and not 30 .
you are better buying the 40 ltr version instead.
The temp setting knob is easily caught when placing items on the top shelf so take care not to accidentally catch it or ,like me, you will adjust the setting without knowing.
The placement of this control could be better.
I would certainly buy another of these because even with its faults its probably still the best on the market.

Highly recommended. I have one in my private rented office. It is situated right next to my desk so needs to be silent. I can honestly say I’ve not heard a peep from it since buying, although haven’t tested it in the middle of summer. It keeps a pint of milk fresh for days on end so no concern about temperatures either.

This is the second bar fridge I have had. This is much better. Our kitchen diner was designed (before we bought the house) by someone who has not spent much time in a kitchen. The fridge freezer is in the furthest corner from the sink. We found we were “tooing and froing” between each corner so that’s why we bought a bar fridge. We wanted somewhere to keep dairy items close to the sink, kettle, coffee machine etc while the fridge freezer stands in a niche alone where I would have put a larder for dry and canned foods. Other advantages for us were that a small fridge is easy to position anywhere, even in a cupboard although we keep ours on the top. Because it doesn’t have an ice compartment it doesn’t need to get so cold and keeps frost-free.
This one is really easy to clean and, unlike our old one, doesn’t produce condensation. It has a good light at the top to illuminate the interior (our old one didn’t) and this also houses the temperature controls (we keep it at the coolest…

I bought the mini fridge 30L for my bedroom, after having bought one that was quite noisy.
I must say that this one it is very, very silent, and I can sleep at night having the fridge in my bedroom.
I paid a bit more for this one than the other one but it is worth the money. If you are looking for something super silent, this is the one!
Regarding the cooling and temperature control, I was very curious to see how cold can it get. And surprisingly it does a very good job with the cooling as well. On the very first day after I plugged it in, I kept it on level 3 max, and I thought that was way too cold so I reduce it to level 2 mid the next day and I believe it is perfect now.
Very nice design also! Well made.
And I recommend for bedroom or living-room to go for the black colour as it is very elegant, it looks good. White color is ideal for kitchen.

Its completely silent which is amazing, not a single noise from the fridge. However, it doesn’t get cold enough.
First i purchased the Subcold 50L fridge which also had a small freezer compartment inside, the fridge would make both my glass and can drinks extremely cold just on a Medium setting. The drinks were actually super cold and it was amazing, however the fridge would produce a whirling sound every 10mins for about 5mins from the compressor. It was extremely annoying and as i had it placed in my home cinema room, it would really distract viewers. However after a few days this got even worse and rattling sounds started happening so had to return, then started searching for silent fridge and found this one! Boy is it silent or what! Not a single whisper from the fridge, however the downside is now that ive had it for a day switched on and my drinks are not even half as cold as my previous Subcold noisy fridge!
