Pros:
– Colors are actually as good as my 2013 Dell IPS panel. I was a bit skeptical about colors as its a TN panel and i have never owned a TN before. But to my surprise I dont see a difference in colors as compared to my old Dell IPS when sitting infront of the monitor.
– as a gamer, and a game developer, i am never going back to 60Hz. Im officially ruined. After a few weeks of daily use.. i switched from 144hz down to 60hz just to check it out. 4seconds later i found my self going back at 144hz. 60hz is trash.
And i was the guy who’d say 60Hz is enough for daily usage and casual gaming. Hell no.
60hz, never again.
I went to the Apple store the other day, used a Mac. Laughed in PCMR at its 60Hz monitor. Best 174ยฃ ive ever spent!
Hell im thinking of getting a OnePlus7Pro cuz of that 90Hz display.
– my gaming got substantially better.
Switching from 60 to 144, no VSYNC or anything. Everything is super smooth and response is unbelievable.
I can swipe cameras faster, aim quicker, without…

UPDATE:
It’s been way over a year since I’ve used this monitor and I’m still very happy with how it performs. No dead pixels, no random shutdowns or any sort of hardware issue at all. I’m updating this review primarily for one reason – settings and new competitors.
Firstly, I previously had my AMA on Premium – this gave way too much ghosting. The best option is “Fast”. Although the monitor says “1ms”, you need to be aware there isn’t a single monitor out there (outside of the 48CX LG OLED TV) that actually reaches that ideal number. We’re still around 10 years away from having OLED/microLED panels on computer monitors, so don’t hold your breath for a true 1ms monitor. The average response time of this monitor is around 10ms, which is still fast enough to have me Radiant in Valorant and Top 500 in Overwatch.
Secondly, this monitor is now reaching a point where it’s slightly behind other monitors. The thick bezel, slightly highest response times and ghosting is really starting to catch…

Performance wise, it’s great. 1ms, 144hz, etc. But I just can’t get over how poor the picture quality is. I’ve had a TN panel for the past 4 years and figured it wouldn’t be too different but I was so wrong. The blacks are just too weak and the colour is so irregular. The blacks are so light even without the equalizer to the point I don’t even need it. The contrast is just lacking and the colours are really poor, there just isn’t enough colour variation. I thought I’d be able to adapt and get over it and that it didn’t really matter but it hinders my experience too much. If this monitor was ยฃ140 or something lower I could justify it but at it’s current price, I’d rather pay extra for a better panel. I just feel like it’s overpriced considering my previous monitor has a 5x better panel at less than half the price. I can’t justify spending ยฃ140 for a better refresh rate and ms when the panel is this bad.

Bought this monitor primarily for CSGO gaming. not a bad word to say about it when comes to CSGO. perfect monitor. i went from MGE to LEM since i purchased this monitor, gameplay is so smooth and 1 tap head shots are far more common than before when i was using a 60hz.
For normal PC use like browsing the web and watching youtube videos etc i had to fine tune the color settings in Nvidia control panel (remember its budget TN panel, colors wont be great out of the box.. so Nvidia helps a lot here!), image quality is now all good and i can browse web and watch videos for hours no problems at all. i just turn off nvidia settings when going into csgo.
settings on the monitor i use:
blue light set to max 10
contrast 0
brightness 100
blue reduction off
digital vibrance set to max for CSGO and kept to default 12 for normal pc use.
black equalizer i keep at default for all uses.
i attached screenshot of my Nvida settings.
