Seeing this has been produced by Bosch I’m a bit, no, very disappointed.
My last cordless power drill was a cheapo but lasted 5 years, cost less that ยฃ50 and the only reason for disposing of it was because the batteries were very expensive to replace.
The first time I used this Bosch drill I lost the cross head drive as the chuck unlocked and it fell out as I was walking between drill positions. It gets hot very quick when drilling into concrete, but does cool down quickly… It feels very fragile and keeps unlocking the drill when drilling.
The batteries are very easy to swop and quick to charge. The carry case is a good size with room to keep my drill bits and drives. Overall not very impressed seeing I paid over ยฃ110 but will keep using it and will probably have to use the guarantee before to long. The Bosch guarantee website wouldn’t let me extend the guarantee, either. It kept crashing…
Good as an electric screwdriver but I dont think it’ll last to long for drilling.

After reading all the reviews, I opted for Bosch and it was a wise decision. It’s a bit heavy for my small (female) hand but it works beautifully, the chuck is easy to release and with two batteries, it never runs down. It also has the added feature of sharing its battery packs with all other cordless Bosch equipment โ I wish mobile phone companies would do the same! Not cheap but worth every penny.

Underpowered. Ok for for light work, but will not drill 8mm hole in my wall other than into plaster – so not fit for purpose even though a hammer drill

Love this tool. I had the old version for about 10 years. As it comes with 2 batteries it makes it even better value. The 2 speeds Hammer and torque control make it the best all around drill/driver out there. I love it. Fitted a new security camera. Replaced a few deck boards and put up garded trellis with ease.

ย The new drill arrived with only one working battery. After several attempts to contact Customer Care, Amazon told me they don’t stock replacement Bosch batteries. I asked for a refund to my credit card instead and received ยฃ19. I subsequently had great difficulty finding a supplier for a replacement Bosch battery online.
Meanwhile, the drill itself had a fault. It would run OK after inserting the battery, but if not used for 20 seconds, would not start again without removing and reinserting the battery. (See video.)
After contacting Amazon again, I was told they couldn’t send a replacement drill but that I should contact Bosch service engineers and gave me their phone number. The service engineers collected the drill by DPD courier. As the drill was brand new and unused, I asked for a replacement but was told that they would repair it if they could.
Three weeks later the original drill was returned,…

This drill is somewhat underpowered and the battery is awkward to remove. If you are using it for driving in screws etc. then it is ideal, however I used it to drill a hole into limestone using the appropriate bit and it took over an hour, and I am in the building trade.

Have only used this a few times but so far, so good.
It’s light, the two batteries are definitely a bonus and it comes with a nice carry case. Be aware that even though the batteries appear to be charged out of the box, they’re not charged enough to run the drill at the maximum speed. I only noticed this after using it for the first time and then charging both batteries…the difference in power/speed after the batteries had a full charge was significant.

I have only used this a couple of times so far but am quite pleased with it – far superior to my previous fairly cheap Black & Decker. Nice to have two batteries, and necessary if doing a fare amount (screwing in a number of already laid decking planks). Others have commented that the screw head (and presumably a drill head) can fall out as the chuck comes loose – I did find this on occasion, though not a big issue if one checks and tightens the chuck every so often.
