Absolutely brilliant for all household DIY jobs.
To hold, it just fits in your hand perfectly. Can’t imagine a better-weighted drill than this.
Any serious DIY’er needs a good quality portable drill, and this one fits the bill perfectly!
I returned due to wrong model order, and now i bought other drill with more Power.

I needed a new cordless drill as I recently bought a house which came with a long list of minor DIY jobs to tackle, from fixing brackets to walls, to building flat pack furniture, to fitting curtain poles, and my ageing cheap old drill just wasn’t cutting it any more. This package seemed great value with 2 batteries and the quick charger and I’ve had good experience with Bosch tools before so it seemed a good bet. This is a nice compact drill, probably getting on for half the size of my old one (although granted that one was about 8 years old so I’d expect tech to have improved and compacted in that time), making it much easier to use in tighter spaces and generally less unwieldy. It feels nicely balanced in the hand and easy to line up as needed. The auto lock chuck is a nice touch, making tightening up bits a piece of cake, and an equally nice touch is the work light that shines up from where the batter pack attaches rather than from behind the chuck, making it less easily…

Absolutely brilliant for all household DIY jobs. I thought that the integrated light was just a gimmick at first but it has proved to be surprisingly useful in dark corners. Bought this replace an old Black & Decker and it feels so much more sturdy and powerful and also smaller which is great for awkward places. The battery seems to go on forever and so with the extra battery included there is no excuse to knock off work early! Worth noting that the chuck will not take 10mm bits and so you will need something else for any really heavy duty jobs.

I’d always wanted one of these and a renovation project gave me the perfect excuse to finally get one. From what I can see the warranty is free – just register online (didn’t do it). My drill started to small a bit strange after a few uses. Completed the project and now it’s at home for DIY. Today 26 months after purchase smoke is pouring out. Guarantee 24 months and annoying! Learn from me – report any possible fault early and get that warranty.

I have just gone over quickly on my new bosch psb 1800 li2 cordless screwdriver/drill & it all seems absolutely brilliant & i also couldn’t find any decent pictures on amazon or from fellow purchase of this bosch item too so i have put some pictures of the one that i have which i’am sorry that the lighting on the pictures are not great as it wasn’t that bright in our living room on when i took them but they still give to you a great idea on what you get on the amazon/bosch deal plus it isn’t that heavy as i thought it would be too & 10/10 for the bosch quality of it all.

(Update) Plus you won’t be drilling any brickwork with this as it doesn’t have enough power to it as an electric drill is better for it but you can drill through wood & any extra holes in flat packed furniture etc that occasionally have holes missing but over all a great driil/screwdriver & two batteries & charger set. 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

I bought this after reading some of the reviews describing it being able to drill into masonry and brick. I hope it would provide an alternative to a mains powered drill, especially when up a ladder. On arrival it was smaller than expected, smaller than a cordless drill I already had, but decided to give it a go to mount a security camera into domestic red brick with a new 6mm Bosch masonry bit. The drill and hammer mechanism just wasn’t up to it, barely penetrating the surface. Even trying to use it with a 4mm bit for a pilot hole it couldn’t hack it. Switched back to a mains drill with the same bit to get the job done. Now relegated to screw driving and wood/interior plasterboard work.
