Great camera. Lots of features. The only disappointment for me is that you can’t refocus once shooting video. However the video quality is very good and the sound quality is better than I expected. An external connection for a microphone would be good but not available on this model. Battery charges reasonably quickly and lasts for ages. I think it should come with a storage card as standard – you can’t use it without! The rear viewing screen is fixed, which makes selfies difficult, but the quality of the image is good. It’s not a touch screen but is controlled by a number of buttons etc. 95% coverage of final image through the viewfinder needs practice to get used to, but once you’ve seen results of several shots you can adjust during setting up shot. Only a personal view, but I think this camera is good value for money.

I personally just got into photography.
At first I was very intimidated by all the functions and features of the camera.
But this set has provided with all the start up of the camera with a disc and the manual.
The manual was very easy to follow probably the first time I ever need to read a manual but the information was very easy to follow.
This set also included with a lens that can auto focus all you can manual use to focus.
This set was very worth it’s value as it has everything it needs for you to start getting into photography.
I don’t know whether this is good or not in professional level, but for beginners like myself I would definitely recommend it.

Such a simple DSLR, didn’t even need to read the manual. The auto focus is great but you do have to lightly press the shutter button, make sure that the switch on the lens is set to autofocus and not manual which I failed to do and was wondering why the autofocus was not working.
The camera has many different camera configurations which I haven’t played with them all as I don’t need them all.
Will be using this camera in my vlogs and PC building series, as well as general photographs out in the Cumbrian mountains.
Overall, I would recommend this camera to anyone that wants a good quality camera for not a too huge of a price.

This camera didn’t take much time to get used to, so is fairly straight-forward to use. I’ve dropped this many times and it surprisingly never caused any issues, so the build quality must be good. Only things I will say are that the automatic focus is pretty bad, the battery takes about five hundred years to charge up and the camera loses battery quite quickly, and it could do with a way of being able to view what you’re doing when you’re filming yourself.

I will be honest and say that I have not taken full advantage of the settings on this camera yet, I do need to spend some time working out the settings. I have a Canon compact which I use all the time for general photos and out doors, this one is for photographing jewellery stuff that I make.
I do like using it though, it is light but feels solid. It was a very good price for such a nice camera. It may not have all the gubbins that the more expensive cameras have, but I’m a technoduffer so the simpler the better for me

I just love this camera. It’s so much better than the 35mm camera one we had, I give digital cameras a big thumbs up. There’s an app that I use on my mobile phone that is really a handy addition to find your way around the camera. It’s called the EOS 12000D Canon app. Really great. Having got the camera I did realise it is almost essential to get hold of the camera case, to protect the back of the camera from scratches. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a case for this camera, you will need it believe me! We bought this one and it did the job.ย

Very good for the price, posted some of my pics as I feel they better show the capabilites of this camera compared to other picture reviews. Won’t be looking to upgrade my camera for a while

Spectacular camera for the price. Even with the 18-55 kit lens it produces some lovely images and the bokeh is sharp. If I had to gripe it would be the positioning of the sd card input (which is right next to the battery, underneath the camera) this isn’t the most convenient if you’re shooting video on a tripod and want to swap cards. Other than that I could not fault it and for the price it’s unbelievable value for money.
