Taken delivery today and am very impressed with everything. Perhaps the pictorial quick set up guide could have a bit more detail to explain which of the controls does what. It’s all in the online manual, of course, and this may be worth a read before the set up procedure.
Printing is fast and the colour detail reasonably accurate. I was not using proper photograph printing paper – that might lift the colour accuracy.
For less that ยฃ25 and next day free delivery who can complain. The print speed is good too. I normally use a laser printer and it’s been a while since I tried an inject. They seem to have improved beyond belief.

So I wanted to digitize my home filing cabinet.
I looked at Flatbed scanners, almost fell over at the price (does anyone else remember when they were about ยฃ10?!) and thought I’d look at other options. Hey presto, I bought this, and love it.
Now I’m only going to concentrate on the scanning side of things. I’ve used it to print something, just to test it, and it worked perfectly.
But scanning documents was what I bought this for, and it’s exceeded exptectations.
It’s quick to scan, provides a clear copy, and isn’t very big. Just make sure you either already own a USB cable, or add one to your basket.
As a handy bit of info, for seamless scanning consider a program called NAPS2 – Not Another PDF Scanner – it’s brilliant. All I have to do is press F2 and it’ll scan and autosave a Document for me.
It’s a perfect little bit of kit.

I managed to set this up a week after I had received it as I thought I would be able to use the cable from my old now defunked Canon printer. Got that wrong so had to order and wait for a new cable. Anyway, this is a good little printer, much lighter than the last one I had so easy to store away (not much room you see). Set up is pretty straight forward. For those who complain about the set up is because they are probably plugging it in and expecting it just to work! There is a disk for the drivers but this didn’t work so I downloaded straight from the Canon website no problem.
The only drawback? Its SO LOUD! I can however live with this. As long as it prints, scans and copies, I’m not to concerned about the noise. It does the job.

It is printing few pages which are not fully printed before it’s printing full page. If you are printing 2 pages you need to print 15-20 pages to get your 2 pages printed in full. Faulty, bad, ink is finishing very fast because before it will print full page it’s wasting ink and paper for half page, 20% of page… Sometimes it’s printing 10 pages even if you are putting 1 copy on your computer. I have never had so many problems with printer. Not using it only in case if emergency. If you want to print one page you will waste ink and money as for 10 or more pages. I am adding the photos, that many copies I have got trying to print ONE page!!!!

If only I had known about the printing… or should I say ‘the lack of printing!’. I only bought this printer under a month ago and already it will not feed the paper to print so my daughter’s Spanish project is in limbo because we cannot print anything!! What a waste of money!! I could have spent my ยฃ50 elsewhere. I would not recommend.

Does not clearly state that the USB cable is not supplied. I bought this because I needed to print off my Grandads order of service for his funeral as our printer gave up the ghost and when you are doing things in a short space of time it would be very helpful to know that the main piece of equipment to use the thing is not included!!!

Setup was clearly bugged.. the disc didn’t do anything.. and even after doing the setup using the online files i still couldn’t get it to work.. the most it did was printer alignment page and then refused to do a test page print.. tried printing just a normal document but nothing. Sending back for refund what a waste of 3 hours!
