Mr. A. Simpson –
I bought the Canon TS5150 because it was a reasonable price; I’d had Canon before; and it was the only printer I could find which would fit inside my desk drawer. What a mistake! The current machine is the second – couldn’t get the first one to work at all even with Canon support. There are so many stupid settings you have to get right to have a fighting chance of producing a print. I’ve only ever been able to print with the rear feed – the front tray simply does not function at all. Came to print something this morning and I simply can’t remember all the ridiculous procedures you have to do in the right order so I’ve finally lost patience after six months of faffing about with it. It’s going to the tip and I’ll try to find something which will actually work.

This is the worst printer I have ever tried. The printer software just would not connect up wirelessly. It was certainly one of the most stressful experiences I have had trying to get it to work. I have asked Amazon for a return.

Did a lot of research and chose this one. I was still apprehensive if it would perform, but it’s worked perfectly. Setup was straight-forward as long as you follow the instructions. I’ve used it for printing documents and photos using separate feeds from laptops and Android mobile. I’ve also scanned documents – you have to manually turn pages over, but it will save them all in a PDF perfectly. It will even awake from sleep mode to print. I also purchased the XL print cartridges.
Great value!

Total rubbish. Paper feeder doesnโt hold paper securely in place, so paper falls backwards unless one is holding it, it can only take a few sheets at a time.
Constantly disconnects from our WiFi so we have a message which says โyour printer is offlineโ which pops up every time you try to print, even after I have spent 10 minutes reconnecting it to our server. The instructions given with it are useless as are the instructions on the printer screen.
The print quality is poor and the inks, which were supplied with it, lasted just a month, despite the fact that we had only been printing the occasional document. ยฃ39 for two new cartridges๐ก.
This is the worst printer we have ever had. Do not buy it, it is not fit for purpose! I am so disappointed with it.

I checked quite few all in one printers before deciding on this. This was the best performance by a long way over others in the price range. Set up was very easy ๐ I then tried it out and have to say it is much quieter than previous models and much quicker. The scan facility worked great. I am very pleased with this product. Iphone and Ipad connections are particularly easy to do and very effective. There are other printers which are cheaper to run, however, for ease of use and a good quick print, then this is really good.

I’ve had Canon printers before and been quite pleased with them. However, I find this one to be noisy. slow at printing and doesn’t give very accurate prints, unless adjustments are made beforehand and even then the print quality is very poor.
The paper loading tray is very flimsy and because you have to operate this with the main panel raised, it’s difficult to get to the paper exit point. Changing from the rear loading compartment (what joy that was) back to the front loading cassette? Error message no paper in the rear tray. Erm? No, that’s because I am not using it and it is closed down? Keeps asking you to ‘register the paper’ Why? Then told me the paper I had loaded didn’t match the paper in the cassette. A4 registered A4 in the cassette? Erm….what’s that all about? I could write a book about the problems with this printer, but will just say…keep your money in your pocket. If I hadn’t bought some ridiculously expensive ink cartridges I would take a lump hammer to the…

This is a very good entry level colour printer. Prints well and is fast. Great design and very easy to set up, connect and print. It’s AirPrint compatible so I was able to print from my Mac, iPhone and iPad wirelessly with little effort.
Please bear in mind it doesn’t come with a usb cable which is very weird indeed and it means you have to print wirelessly or buy a cable separately. Also, it has no 5GHz wifi connectivity but I think very few printers do currently.

This is the fourth Canon printer I have had and is definitely the worst due entirely to the quality of photo printing. I have re-installed it three time from the Canon site to ensure it has the most up-to-date drivers, and yet photos taken on a bright sunny day print up as if taken under a dark cloud. The colours are dull lacking vibrancy, and brightness. It uses only the two ink tanks rather than the individual colours of my previous models, and I suspect this is the problem. The Canon help desk has been unable to help, so I will have to cut my losses and look for another brand. A waste of money if used for colour photos.
