I need it a cheap laptop for work use nothing fancy word documents emails these kind of functions so on the face of it this laptop sounded perfect .
when it arrived I stupidly began to set it’s up for my own preferences eg downloading office setting up accounts for email and all the programs that I needed for zoom chat etc then I notice that the battery I was about to die .so I tried to charge the laptop and that’s when all the fun began the laptop would not charge I realized that the chart charger was actually faulty and started searching for one in the house that would power the laptop as the plug is very small unlike my other laptops .once I got bored of this game I decided to contact Amazon and ask for replacement charger because by now the laptop was completely dead that’s partly my fault I should have checked that the charger works before spending an hour and a half setting it up for my preferences .I was told by Amazon that they could only refund me and they couldn’t send me…

Having watched YouTube videos and reading reviews, I purchased the Corebook Pro in the knowledge that it is a budget laptop. As expected, there are therefore pros and cons:
Cons:
– Came with Ludashi and Adware.ChinAd adware/malware installed, which I found by running a MalwareBytes scan. I reinstalled windows downloaded from Microsoft and wiped the recovery partition to rectify this. More on this below the pros and cons.
– There are sparks when plugging devices into the USB-C port. This is a bit of a concern, but I’ve found this not to affect anything when plugged in.
– Unable to set the Function row keys to behave as function keys by default, without the need to press the Fn key at the same time. The default behaviour is to function as multimedia keys. I have e-mailed service@chuwi.com and posted on their forum to hopefully see if there is a way to set this, as I use function keys extensively. Some manufacturers have an option of โAction Keysโ or โHotkeys Modeโ within the BIOS that…

I needed a “no thrills” laptop, just for spreadsheet and other document work, as well as Internet browsing and watching streamed movies. It needed to be lightweight and small for portability. I have a custom made gaming laptop, but it’s bulky and not lightweight at all. I opted for this one as it had good reviews and was not too expensive.
When it arrived I was surprised just how light and small it was (13″ screen). It also appears to be of a quality design/build.
The set up took a couple of hours purely because there were some large and major Windows updates to download and install. Once everything was set up to my preferences I was ready to go.
For the use I intended for it, it works very well indeed. It’s not as fast, obviously, as my gaming laptop, but it’s certainly fast enough for my needs. It boots up very quickly.
The screen and quality of display is impressive. It looks clear and sharp on the whole.
