Recently bought this PC for a client of mine as they needed something minimal yet powerful, was really impressed by the build quality. I will be considering this brand going forward to supply other clients in the future. Thanks!

I bought this about 5 days ago and used it every day since, I wanted a pc that was small but had a good spec, and this did. I5 inside + 8GB of RAM. I didn’t require a pc for gaming, but just the basics like surfing the web, you tube viewing, ebay, Amazon, homework, and general pc stuff. This little machine has delivered and with speed, fan is very quiet and only cuts in when its needed. Nice case around the electronics. You only get the small pc, so will need a monitor and keyboard. But after that your away, it was very easy to set up, I added some virus protection and a few of my details and bang all has been working fine. Hope it lasts a long time? hope this helps someone else?

I’m really happy with this purchase. I am not particularly technically minded and just wanted a small, relatively inexpensive pc to use for a bit of casual online gaming. I picked this one because the price was good, the spec would work for all the games I wanted to play via Steam, and it was a bit over spec so shouldn’t be obsolete for a while. I doubt it would cope with serious gaming but it’s fine for me.
Windows is pre installed and it was incredibly easy to get set up. I have a separate work PC at home so just bought a monitor switch so they can share a monitor. Only downside is that they each need own keyboard and mouse (or lots of swapping!). With the benefit of hindsight a more elegant solution would have been to get a pc with a USBC port so I could share my work docking station.
That aside, it’s a fab little pc and I’ve played a lot of Diablo on it!

I have to say, as a desktop computer this is fantastic for the price and size. We got this to help with homeschooling and actually, because it is a tiny desktop pc it requires we get all the other peripheries (webcam, monitor, keyboard/mouse etc) to make it viable for video call lessons so we’ve decided against that and will get a laptop instead, but having been setting it up I’ve been really impressed with how powerful and quick this computer is. If we needed another desktop pc, this would be top of our list.

I guess the thing works which is a positive – but you can’t add another internal SSD drive, it won’t boot with it connected. In my case I tried using a Crucial 500GB SSD, but I did find I could connect it externally via USB3 (using power only from the USB3 socket). Seeing as it’s using the same amount of power either way (connected internal or external) I can’t see it being a power issue. Just opening the case is a problem, the top is glued down and has to be levered open after removing the 4 screws to break the seal. Both of these issues have been mentioned by another reviewer so it’s not just me. A 2-core i5 is old tech these days – like, 6 years old… same with the DDR3 RAM. The memory cannot run in dual channel mode either. Overall, in terms of performance this is pretty low tech and out-dated before you even open the box. For me, I wanted a small PC to run my CNC router so it fills that role ok.

I needed a small but powerful linux box to run some tests on software I am developing.
Found this, ordered it, booted from a Debian USB stick and installed (I didn’t want the Windows Home that came with it).
It works great – fantastic small footprint machine, that is very quiet.

Replaced old family Windows 7 PC, and wanted a basic Windows 10 unit, suitable for surfing the internet, and children’s school homework. This Chuwi Mini PC is great. Easy and quick to set up, and now attached to the back of our monitor, freeing up space. Is much faster than our old PC, looks better, and runs completely silent. Am very pleased with this b unit, which has exceeded my expectations so far, and would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive family PC.
