I bought this for my daughter, overall good quality, it came with a considerable amount of scratches on the monitor, and box,, i have bought it with the extended warranty just in case, it came with windows 10 pro installed, and adobe reader. make sure you purchase your own endpoint protection, complete windows update, visit HP to update the BIOS firmware and driver update, and finally, set up a password for the default OEM account. dont expect miracle from the provide mouse and keyboard (they are basic)

This computer came with bare wires on the electrical lead and itโs a good job I spotted it or could have been electrocuted, the WiFi dongle didnโt work so had to purchase a new lead and WiFi dongle Amazon wouldnโt refund the full amount I had to pay to make it safe and to be able to use this because they said they hadnโt sold it, funny that when it states AMAZON Renewed kind of makes you think itโs Amazon but hey buy this computer at your own risk because Amazon donโt care if you get killed by faulty electrical wires be warned!!!

Bought this package for domestic use thinking it would do the job. Unfortunately it was not WiFi enabled [stated as WiFi in the blurb] and needed ethernet connection which is not of any use in my situation. I have returned the unit for a refund, not sure that I will get the postal costs reimbursed.

The price is appealing for sure but the supplier obviously has no quality control in place. Machine arrived dusty and with the side panel ajar, I could deal with that. What I can’t excuse is the faulty VGA lead it came with that caused horrendous ghosting on the screen. Surely any competent company testing their products before shipping would have noticed this. To add to the disaster that was this purchase it came with no WiFi adaptor as promised, the keyboard and mouse are so terrible id prefer not to have them and the monitor is 4:3 when the image clearly shows something totally different. They must have picked these right up from the local tip and shipped them out. Hard drive also sounds like its an old drive and about to stop working I dare to even think about looking at S.M.A.R.T to see the 15k hours its been in use for.
Wouldn’t buy again. Won’t be buying again.

Great Desktop for the price but don’t expect to play any games on it even with an add on graphics card it will not play today’s high speed and resolution games however it will play some lower end older games

I have bought three ‘renewed’ computers now from Amazon.
Having a little knowledge about pcs, I knew that I was buying old workplace/office computers. They are basic and will get you on line to do various tasks and will cope with zoom etc.
I have upgraded all the machines that I have purchased to let them perform a little better and cope with some light gaming (always check what the system requirements of a game are before purchasing).
All the machines were upgraded with new memory (two to 32gb and one to 16gb), SSD drives (500gb internal) and internal wi-fi & Bluetooth cards.
Two received graphics cards (MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1050Ti 4GT LP Graphics Cards) and new monitors.
All have performed as expected and still are three to four months later. The two with graphics cards are coping with most games but always make sure the system parameters are met.
All in all these have been good purchases, kept the cost down (even with the upgrades) compared with having to buy three new desktop pcs…

The PC itself is fine. The mouse and keyboard are usable. The screen is a let-down. It is missing a button (the nub can still be pressed so that’s ok) but most importantly it has fairly serious image burn- everything has a faint blurry tail coming out of it. It will do for a short time.
The screen was initially set to DVI input, and the PC was set to DisplayPort output, so at first I just got a black screen. Luckily I had another monitor on hand to fiddle with the display settings. This package only contained a VGA cable so unfortunately I can’t say it worked out of the box.
Overall I am very happy with the computer (comes without bloat software), content with the mouse and keyboard, satisfied with the seller’s quick service and good protective packaging, just don’t expect much from these elderly screens which may have had hard lives!

This review is purely for the condition of the pc received, computer works after I pieced together parts. Received delivery by DPD to Republic of Ireland. The box was damaged on one side. While everything except the monitor stand was bubble wrapped inside the monitor casing is broken as seen in the pics, the mouse was also crushed and had to be put together. I wasn’t expecting a brand new machine but this looks like delivery damage considering the side of the box thats broken is the same side of the monitor that is broken.
