Got tired of doing the many screws up I have in my home by hand, and wanted an affordable drill to mount my televisions on the wall with. This drill covered all the uses I had in mind for it, and will serve me well for years to come. It is light weight for my not very muscular female arms. Comes with two batteries so I could keep drilling for longer, to cover my whole afternoon of work. The drill bits that came with it were very handy for drilling the holes I required for the television mounts, and screwing in the screws to the rawl plugs afterwards. The round the corner long orange drill bit was so handy for getting at screws in those holes that are hard to get to. I was amazed at the quality and the amount of accessories it came with for the reasonable price. It is solid built and withstood drilling through my hard concrete walls. The light on the end of the drill was great for seeing down the holes that had been…

I was asked to review this drill kit by Bluesmart. It arrived very quickly, well packaged. I am pleasantly surprised by the overall package. The drill kit is presented in a sturdy black case. Inside the case you find the drill, two 21v Li-ion batteries with a charger fitted with a standard UK plug. In addition you get the following:
Drill bits for wood, metal and masonry
Sockets sizes 5mm to 13mm with the extender bar to fit the Chuck
    A hanging hook
    Pack of screws and rawlplugs
    Instruction manual
Three Philips and flat head drivers.
The drill itself is fairly lightweight and compact. It has settings for screws, drilling and hammer action. The Chuck size is 10mm (3/8). The batteries are partially charged and took around an hour to reach a full charge. With two batteries, doubtful if running out of juice will be an issue.
I used the drill on screws and to drill holes in a plank and a brick. (See photo.) Very good on the wood but struggled slightly on a hard brick. Ok though on plasterboard…

My youngest has just moved house and has been borrowing tools for his home and garden from neighbours so has been buying things that he needs as he requires them. Apparently the “borrowed” drill wouldn’t go through his masonry walls to hang some pictures. I liked the idea of this being a cordless hammer drill with drill bits and sockets to add to his toolbox.
    This was his opinion:
    “Very efficient drill –

I bought this drill set as I recently moved into a house with hard concrete walls and wanted to hang some pictures/mirrors. Attempting to hammer and drive screws through the chimney breasts were proving to be an absolute nightmare and was causing more damage than I wished for. Upon the drill kit arriving, I was very impressed to see the professional looking clip box with everything neatly and tidily packed away inside. Many different drill bits for many different reasons whether it be wood, masonry or metal. I’ve played around with all the attachments briefly despite not needing to…

Compact and its a combo so you can screwdriver, drill or hammer action. comes with 2 batteries which is important to me, they don’t last ages but just charge one while you use the other one. i even got rawlplugs and screws in the carry case. Also comes with that red twisty thing where you can screw at daft angles when you cant get the drill into a space. Anyway for this price I’m very very happy. I have a Milwaukee fuel 18v and its a serious bit of kit but this is absolutely fine for small jobs which is why i got it. so i can have my main drill and then this one which is more then enough for all the simple jobs I cant knock it for the price, my Milwaukee was 4 times more!
If there was any way I could try to knock my purchase id say I wish the batteries were higher capacity but im spending 50 quid for a simple compact always with me drill to complement my pro tools. so i really cant expect more for this money.
