Fits so PERFECTLY. I am 155cm and about 55kg and ordered size S, fits so nicely. The model reminds me bell-shaped skirt, it looks very beautiful when you move. The fabric is soft very warm and not stiff at all. Only thing is that this wool material feels really itchy…

Im a big fan of knee length double breasted jackets. I have a black one but its not suitable for winter so I was on the hunt for something similar.
This jacket is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thick, long and stunning! I got it in red as I wanted to try something different from the usual autumn/winter colours (browns, blacks and greys). Red is quite a bold colour but I feel amazing when I wear it. Ive even noticed a few eyes on me when Ive been out and about haha.
The pockets are not huge but its enough to get your hand into. I did have initial concerns about the lapel (collar): its lower then I fathomed and I was worried Id feel the cold wind on my chest area, but I dont. The coat keeps my body warm from the knees up, incl my chest area. I could leave the house with little to nothing (if I wanted to) and not only would no one know, but Id still be warm!!! The jacket is well worth the price and I would recommend this jacket to anyone who is looking for a classy look.

The coat came a day before the expected date. Exciting, the coat is so beautiful. I’m normally a size UK 16 or 18. I ordered a size UK 18, red in colour. It showed that there was 1 coat left in stock, I guessed it was the last size 18. When I received the coat, the invoice said UK 18, but there was a size 20 at the back of the coat, but it fit me perfectly well. I don’t understand why there’s a discrepancy between the size on the coat and that on the invoice. But hey, what does it matter, the coat fits. I like the coat and it looks so beautiful on me. I would buy it in a different colour. This is a lovely coat to have in ones wardrobe. Real fashion.

This coat is amazing! It’s design is original and it’s super warm.
After reading the many different reviews, I choose to go against the advice given and decided to buy a size smaller, and not larger like advised and I’m so glad I did. I’m technically a size 16, however I go in at the waist so usually buy a size smaller.
The size 14 jacket in Black fits me perfect and is very flattering.
I think us women need to be more realistic about our actual clothing size before giving out advice, I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve followed the advice given about sizing, only to receive something two sizes too large; which is a great inconvenience for me and the sellers.

Very nice. Really warm, comfortable to wear and it looks lovely, uncommon. I like the adjustable back, much better than a belt. I thought it was too wide at the bottom, more than it looks like in the pic, but it looks lovely when on, somehow similar to a 50s skirt. It goes perfectly with a retro blue banana dress, but also adorable with jeans and leggings. The colour is lovely, too. One button came slightly out of place, but it wasn’t really noticeable and easy to fix.

lower part, it fitted and looked stunning, the coat i have to say shocked me when it arrived because i thought it would be a bit naff, i was WRONG, its lovely, well made, good wool, and very stylish. x

The coat itself is a lovely style and shape. It is only autumn now and I got this to wear in the winter. Having tried it, I think it will be warm enough for the colder months. The material does look a bit cheap, but that doesn’t bother me so much. The black colour helps to hide that. The reason for the low rating is the defect with the loops in the back. The manufacturer did not pass the string into one of the loops because the opposite loop was completely sealed – there was no hole to pass the string through, as you can tell from the picture. The seller whom I contacted was not helpful. I just got a defensive email about it not being their responsibility and that I am the only customer who’s ever complained so he will not be relaying my complaint to the manufacturer. So overall, not happy and I would not recommend this.

I think this would be great on someone shorter than me! Nice material, felt thick and warm and a good colour. I love the lapels, and despite being double breasted it isn’t widening, maybe due to the full skirt.
However…I’m not *that* tall (5’8″) but this just didn’t sit in the right place on me. I am a 12-14 with broad shoulders and 34F bust so I normally get 14-16 in coats and jackets. I got the 16 and 18 to try here after reading reviews. I think the 16 *might* have fitted if I had a shorter torso but it just didn’t sit in the right place over my bust. The 18 ditto but then there was too much material round the shoulders. Returning both which is a shame.
One small thing is that if one of them had fitted, I would have kept it – but changed the lacing on the back! I love the idea but in a flared, slightly Gothic wool coat, why on earth use cord that looks like it came off a sleeping bag or mountain hiking jacket?!
