What a great machine for the price. This is a very sturdy, well built, and swift unit – silent in operation. seems fast and responsive in operation, and with these specs, should should keep most households happy for just about everything you want to do. Nice to get a machine with bare bones windows installation and not piled high with bloat-ware!
Instructions are simply an A4 sheet advising how to switch on and authorise your windows install, so if you are not already computer literate and need information about all your ports and how to use a computer, then this might not suit you. Anyone who is already pretty computer literate and looking for fast home computer on the cheap should be pretty happy with this.
Please note, this is brilliant for most things, but its not specified to be a gaming PC, so I wouldn’t recommend this if you want to play games. You should also note its not supplied with a keyboard or mouse, so if you haven’t got any you could just plug in, you may wish to…

Arrived well packed and complete with Mains and HDMI cable. Also included was a wifi adaptor.
Installed with Win10pro the unit operates very fast. As an unexpected extra there’s 9 way COM port too.
As a radio amateur I run SDR radios via Pcs as well as analytical software. This unit seems to handle this with no problem.

My machine was supplied by First Click Solutions, very speedy delivery and well packaged. Minor blemish on the case and the front panel has a lug missing – (no big deal).
The machine itself is great to use. Win 10 Pro was supplied, all updates and registration was a cinch. Personally, I’d upgrade the onboard graphics to a graphics card of choice and I might be tempted to install an additional fan – although you may end up wanting to upgrade to a more powerful power supply.
Recommended use for this machine is graphic designers – see above on that option.
Office and writers – this is the machine worth having. In terms of space, the SSD handles all the software, with a 2TB HDD as the storage option. I’ve also plugged in a 256GB Memory stick which handles my back-ups, along with my Google Drive and Dropbox options.
Photographers – I’d say this handles photo-software well, I’m using Affinity and OnOne (not current) and it performs well with both systems running together.

Excellent machine. Lightning fast, thanks to 16GB RAM and SSD. Also very quiet in operation. Just make sure you keep the SSD for programs only then keep your files, photos, music etc on the hard drive. My life has actually changed for the better since I changed over to this Dell from my tired Microsoft Vista machine. My home office is so much quieter (this machine is completely silent – can’t even hear the fan) and access to programs, files and Internet is instant. Even my ZoneAlarm antivirus is happy, and has never crashed while updating, as used to happen and drive me crazy with the old machine. Highly recommended!

Even though my old PC was still working, I decided to by a new one as part of my move from Windows 7 to Windows 10. It is possible that some users can still get an upgrade for free but to buy a new copy of Windows 10 from the Microsoft store costs £120. Getting a PC with Win 10 already installed for less than £300 seemed reasonable given that it has twice the memory and a faster processor than the previous machine. It also has an SSD as well as a 1TB hard drive.
Even though it is a ‘refurbished’ PC the machine looks like new with no marks or scratches. It has only been a week, but everything is working fine. I have managed to copy all my data across and adjust all the settings in Windows 10 to make it look as much like my old PC as possible. The machine is fast and fairly quiet and I am very pleased with it.
If anything changes I’ll update the review.

I’ve bought two of these now from First Click Solutions and both were exactly as described and both looked like new machines. If you want a day-to-day machine for word processing, internet, DTP, Accounting and general work, these are an excellent specification for the money. You won’t be able to play the latest high spec games as this isn’t a games machine, but for everything else, they are really good value for money. Highly recommended!

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago, it was supplied by First Click Solutions LTD (FCS) and was well packed, worked straight out of the box and is in service and reliable. The second one is from The IT Buffs – a completely different experience, shoddy packaging coming apart at the seams, the SSD was just dangling in the breeze off its cables, no atempt had been made to secure it. It woudn’t boot as it was looking for a network source of the OS, presumably from when it was bulk installed, on hold thirty minutes to support then phone went dead. So I had to go into the BIOS and change the Boot Order. Finally got it going then the motherboard died. Start button: Two Flashes Three Flashes! Look it up!
These products say Amazon reconditioned and I ‘bought; the ‘same’ prioduct twice because the first one was so good, but there was noting to say that the suppliers would be different. I hope I can get a refund from The IT Buffs and then buy again from First Click Solutions -…
