I run a lot of network-based apps and programs on this, and I couldn’t be happier with the speed of the machine. I also have a few RPG’s on here that run great. If you’re looking for an all-round everyday computer, this is the one to have.

Excellent PC – my old office PC died and I had to get a new one fast… I looked up high spec machines and was, quite frankly, very nervous buying a refurbished machine… but at less than half the price of an equivalent PC, and way better spec than I was willing to fork out for new, I took the risk… and am delighted that I did. it was easy to set up, transfer files etc, VERY fast and, with a year’s guarantee, every bit as good as brand new…. highly recommended!

I was a bit wary of buying this. I had to call the suppliers to set up 2 screen, very simple solution provided (hit windows button ) The wait to speak with support was reaasonable, about 5 minutes, no more. Second occassion to call was that It comes with keyboard and mouse package, and the keyboard did not function properly (half of letteres not working) called support, 5 minutes and they immediatley sent replacement keyboard+mouse. Works fine. Third occassion, I dowloded a dodgy software and ignored windows defender. 5 minutes to speak with support, emaile dme a link to reinstall Widows 10, with very good instructions. I am impressed by the ITBUFFS support, and the PC wors very well. Excellent value.

These Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF really are clever little machines. The SFF is a welcome change and sits nicely on any desk out of the way and free from clutter. It’s powerful too. If it’s intended for an office, then it would be ideal. But might struggle with extensive video editing or even Photoshop. All in all, very good value for money. Except, if it goes wrong. The twelve month warranty is just pie in the sky. Unless you bought from any supplier other than Amazon it’s unlikely they will want to honour the warranty. The Optiplex series seem to be particularly susceptible to PSU failure. That’s the bad news. The good news is the parts are cheap and easily sourced, and installing it should not present a problem if you are used to dealing with computers and can swap out parts. Also there are plenty of YouTube vids showing you how to do it. What’s not to like. Good Luck.

I was concerned that these computers would not be good enough for my needs. I wanted to use it for accessing Second Life, which needs a decent processor and good graphics.

I need not have worried. I already had an NVIDIA half height graphics card which I added to one of the two available PCIe slots.

It all worked perfectly straight away. I booted up with the new graphics card, loaded drivers and away we went.

The machine comes supplied with a converter for HDMI video, if you use the built-in graphics. The machine is also supplied with a basic Wi-Fi dongle. No need to use this. Performance was very slow. I have ordered a half height Wi-Fi card for the remaining PCI express slot. There is also a working ethernet socket which I have used to get online.

The computer was packed very well and delivered without a scratch on it. Delivery was 2 days after ordering.

If you need Bluetooth please be aware there is no Bluetooth fitted. I simply added a Bluetooth dongle I had lying around.

    All of this…

Bought this as a small-footprint alternative to the usual massive watercooled pc’s I normally build, simply for the wife & kids to do email, school work, online shopping, etc. Highly recommend – has been running continuously since I purchased it (3 months?), no heating problems, totally reliable, and VERY quiet, very pleased with purchase, am looking to buy another from same supplier if the price is right!

Beware of this it is nothing like what is on Amazon it is a third party lump of rubbish from Manchester you can not even use the keyboard with it as it is not even English more like Turkish.

Nothing bad to say about this – really great PC with AVG anti-virus (free) installed and even a free office app suite. It’s a compact PC with not much scope for further upgrading. There are a couple of PC Express slot vacant but not enough spare power connections to allow a significant GPU upgrade I think. It would be worth considering removing the motherboard and installing in another chassis with a beefier PSU if you wanted to install a gaming capable Graphics Card/GPU. Some things to address other negative comments left by others – my SSD was mounted properly in a cage and my machine was the type and spec promised in the item. My experience of these Dells is they run for years so should be good for a few years.
