Iโve been using this drill with a 5ah battery and it has proven faultless plenty of power and battery is really long lasting!

So far so good. I like the small size but with good power for 18volts. Have used this on site a few times into concrete block and once into hard stone and it drilled surprisingly with ease unlike an earlier 24volt sds I had which was practically useless and was binned. To be fair if I am to drill lots of holes I will still use my corded sds if power is available but that should go without saying – it is what it is.

Light, powerful, ease of use, does exactly what it was purchased for.
If you really do want more from a battery drill you will struggle to find one better, probably go 110V & have to pay a great deal more.
Wish it had come with T-stak or Toughsystem upgrade option but the supplied case will do the job for other tools.
