I confess to a love/hate relationship with Epson. Their printers always hold so much promise, but the struggle to avoid spending a fortune on ink has been a constant feature of my relationship with them. The ET-2750 should help me relax a bit, allowing me to use Epson’s original inks without breaking the bank. Getting it going was simple enough, and the well-designed ink bottles allow you to fill the large reservoirs without the dangers of spillage. There’s a valve arrangement in the neck which only allows the ink to flow when the bottle is securely plugged into the tank’s connector. The printer comes with a set of four ink bottles which promise a huge number of pages before you’ll need a refill. I’ve used Epson printers in the past which have six or seven ink colours to give you the best quality, but to be honest think I would struggle to see any difference with this machine. The paper feed is at the back of the machine, and the sheets stand up, leaning back at an angle of maybe…

I bought this printer on 10 July. The price included a cash back offer of ยฃ50 and a further cash back offer if an old printer was traded in. Beware. This may be a scam. Epson acknowledged my claim for the cash back on 11July. I heard nothing further. When I followed up I received an email to say that the claim had been validated and that I would be paid within 30 days. I was not. After two further reminders I have just received an apology and a promise that this will be dealt with within the next two weeks. It is two months since I bought the printer. As Epson could pay me immediately (as I paid them) they are either utterly incompetent or I have been the victim of a scam. Beware.

I purchased this printer because I do card making a lot. I have been using it for weeks now and printing high quality on 300gsm card. My previous workforce printers would have used 4 sets of replacement cartridges by now, this one has not begun to show signs that the ink is in need of refilling. Its design is so well thought out. I got a paper jam and it was so easy simply press 2 buttons on the rear panel and remove it then remove the paper. A previous review said that the PDF feed does not do duplex, sorry but it does and it does it very well. I am delighted that I can send prints from my other devices to it and it is a godsend when I need copies of business documents sent to me from 130 miles away, they simply send them to my printer from there and I have them. Its facilities to scan to computer and to e-mails as attachments is so useful. It has a setting to print borderless and 1 to remove punch hole marks. I could sing its praises all day but in short I am delighted I bought…

I returned this for a refund after a few hours of setting up and testing and the vendor has been excellent in that regard. Thank you!
Given the high price tag, I hoped that this printer would be a higher quality ink jet, comparable to a colour laserjet which was being replaced. The print quality of a single A4 page with full colour background and images was really disappointing. The colours were not dense or bright. It was dull with poor reproduction – especially on red (looked a dirty dark pink) with evident stripes running the length of the page. This was after setting it up in accordance with the instructions. I replaced it 2 days later with a colour laserjet at (2/3rds the cost) and the colour and quality is superb by comparison. The running costs of this printer is clearly a big draw and the cost per page is on the face of it very low. If you do lots of black and white text, I think this would be fine and cheap to run. If lots of photos/colour pictures is what you want, this is…

The new Epson sits on my desk. Looking good and feeling smug.
I use it for work and home. Printing documents, scanning documents and the printing (wireless) needs of everyone in the house.
It prints. It scans. It looks good, and it does exactly what I hoped for.
Printers past (Canon…twice) have promised much, bought by recommended ratings, but fell short. Frustratingly short.
This thing just works. Install is a doddle. A stack of paper sits behind and travels through a simple back to front mechanism. It sits idle yet comes to life immediately when you need it, and there are no apparent negatives after weeks of use.
…and the bedt bit is the ink. No stupid cartridges. Nothing but economic, environmental simplicity.
I am running Windows 10 and printing from Apple devices with no problem at all.
Job done. Thank you Espon
Five star rating from me.
