Wouldn’t have written a review for catfood normally, however since all of the pouches I have opened so far inside one of the six smaller boxes that come in this package contained only jelly with no meat whatsoever, (the first 5 out of 20- leaving the rest unopened till I record the opening), I am airing my concerns. All of the other boxes have been fine, just this one letting down the whole package. I will be uploading a video later opening one of these and will be contacting Purina directly about the quality issues. Review is only getting 3 starts because of this issue, would have been 5 otherwise as I have never had this problem when buying this product of the shelves in stores. My cats love Felix As Good as Looks, its just about the only wet food they actually like, so they were very disappointed when their bowls contained only jelly.

Strange that we are asked to rate flavour and scent. It’s cat food. I haven’t tried it myself and strangely the scent is of cat food.
However, our cat eats it. Unless you know our feline dictator, you won’t appreciate how good a review that is.

Bought for a 18 year old cat who is becoming increasingly picky with her food. She will just ignore whole flavours with some versions of the Felix. Consistency of the gravy seemed a little on the thin side but couldn’t complain too much as she ate them all without issue. I wish they did a senior version in this range, but as she likes it I will continue to purchase.

The flavours are pretty standard with salmon, tuna, chicken and beef. They don’t smell overly strong as some gravy flavours tend to do in other brands, such as Sheba or Gourmet.

The value on the Felix seems to be better than others – 100g per pack and my cat still ends up eating 5 of them on a good day. Would recommend this for sure.

Avoid. Product is fine but the pricing per kg is wrong – The blurb states price £1.66/kg. however the product is 12x100g = 1.22 kg and costs £7.99 which works out at £6.65 per kg. this is very expensive. Really annoyed. Didn’t realise until I went back to order some more – I’d already opened it at this point and used pouches.

It appears that Felix Cat Food has been ‘re-engineered’ – the packaging is different, the smell is different and my cat, who has devoured it for 5 years, now simply sniffs it and walks away! She happily eats other food!

There are thousands of reviews on the internet also experiencing the same problems or even worse – many cats are ill or have died! What is extremely disconcerting and disappointing is that the manufacturer ‘Purina’ deny the recipe has changed! That is adding ‘insult to injury’. However, they will soon have to do something about it because their sales figures will plummet!

See facebook page. Cats recently affected by Felix Food.
I have 3 cats who have been on AGAIL for 12 years. All of my cats have been vomiting, lost weight and energy, lost appetite, runny eyes, one had scabs, all were scratching constantly. Please look at this group. 17500 people in 8weeks with horrendous stories. Within 4 days of changing their food, all of my cats are back to normal, just one scab which is clearing daily. FELIX have changed the food and outsourced to Russia who have lower food standard. At best our cats are not getting the nutrition they need at worst something is toxic to cats.

Very disappointed with my 140 pouches of Felix as damaged on arrival. I’ve had to throw at least 20 pouches away due to damage and the smell from leaking gone off cat food was horrendous! It had seeped all through the boxes and as it was left in my porch on a hot day until I got home, the whole house smelt of it. Surely the carrier must have smelt something in the van?? Shouldn’t have been delivered in my opinion. I can’t return the pouches as would be a hazard, so haven’t started a returns claim. Won’t be buying in bulk again as waste of money. I have pics of the damaged pouches if required.

I’ve been buying these recently instead of the bulk packs. Why have they got so expensive? My cats have always had felix so I don’t really want to change their food now in case they get upset tummies.
The food itself is fine I’m just annoyed it seems a bit overpriced.
