Amazon Customer –
With a delivered next day cost of 87p I couldn’t believe it was possible. Now I do.
It arrived OK but simply doesn’t work – the mat is a flimsy piece of covered foam that has no weight to it so just moves with the mouse. It is impossible to use.
So, 87p spent was actually 87p wasted but for the seller it is 87p of income – if you sell to enough mugs like me, a 5p bit of foam soon returns a nice profit!
Do not think you are buying a cheap mat – instead think you are giving away 87p!! Do not buy on any basis!

I needed a cheap mouse mat for the rare times I use my p.c. and indeed it is cheap, but rubbish.
Within minutes of opening it just wanted to curl up and die, it is virtually useless.
You’d think I would know better at my age (60) but alas, no…cheap is NOT always a good idea even if you use it rarely, and this mouse mat was so bad I gave up on it and binned it.

A mouse pad isn’t necessary in most cases, and laser mouses work pretty well on most surfaces. However, after making a new worktable with an epoxy glass finish, I found it was too glossy, and the reflection of the beam was making the work of my mouse too disruptive.
It was time to buy my first mouse pad in years. I didn’t need anything fancy and was looking for something cheap but not the worst performer. This mouse pad was Amazon recommended choice, and I don’t regret buying it!
ยฃ1 for a piece at the time of the purchase, there couldn’t be an any better deal. It sticks to the table like rubber and stays secure, so it doesn’t move on the table a lot. The surface material is soft and comfortable to touch, also give a smooth glide for the mouse, allowing you to enjoy your work with precision.
It looks like it won’t last very long, and eventually, sides of the mousepad will start peeling off, but so far, after three months of daily usage, it is in perfect condition.
All I would say, it’s…

Packaging – came undamaged and in full order, no issues with delivery
Quality – do the quality is not the best, for what you get and the price you pay which for me was 80p your not going to get much better. It does the job and I have had no issues with it.
Price/ value for money – for 80p delivered to your house I mean there is nothing to complain about.

This mat is a great improvment on a plain desk or even a dinner mat, but it would be much better if it didn’t curl up at the edges. It works well with my Microsoft optical mouse providing I don’t try to use 100% of its area.
It almost feels as if the quality of mouse-mats has moved backwards over the past ten years, as some mats promoting products and companies seem to perform better, even as they slowly die of old age.

I chose this mousepad because it is small. The specifications also said that this was 5mm thick, which is indeed true. The reason why you want a thicker mousepad is so the foam underneath absorbs all the bumps of the underneath surface but also there is more distance to dig into – placing your wrist on this pad will feel much more comfortable than on a thin surface or a hard table. 5mm is generally one of the thicker sizes.
When opening this, you do get that nice cheap mousepad smell. It’s quite strong, but it is a pleasant smell in the beginning. I wouldn’t say that this would cause too much annoyance because the smell dies down around the time you get sick of the smell.
In terms of the top surface, it’s not the smoothest, but it will do the job. It will prolong the life of the pads underneath the mouse and can reduce the friction and make the movement more consistent, but you do feel the texture underneath. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing, and it’s a subjective…

It`s literally just a piece of sponge covered with a blue material, but you don`t need more than that. Some discoloration might appear over time due to sweat and dust, but it`s not affecting the usability of the item. It`s comfortable and sturdy, will last for a long time. Happy with the purchase after all.

The mouse mat is a few cm shorter than advertised both length and width meaning the mouse is continually slipping off the edge. Also there is zero traction underneath so the mat just slides round my desk. Far inferior cheaper and smaller product than the exact same one I ordered from Amazon and have been happy with a couple of years ago.
