Really disappointed, we’ve been ordering this forthglade over the last 6 months and there was the odd one of the sachets open in the box which we threw away. In the recent box 7 of the 12 sachets were open and rotten, we threw away the whole box. I will be cancelling my subscribe and save on this dog food.

My dog loves this but it is hard to find in main stream retailers, even if they have it, they don’t restock. Our dog had tummy problems as a pup and we only feed him with natural foods that don’t contain any wheat or bulking up products, or colourings. I would highly recommend this product

My Border Collie “Sam” is now 11yrs old(more’s the pity!!),but still he’s the same as all Collie’s,having 2 speeds,STOPPED & BULLET !! and with food he’s no different,I started him on this around a year or so ago,gradually alternating days of his Purina Original 15kg bags of whole food biscuits(which he still loves & his Purina Dentalife stick each morning(that my NHS nurses give him when attending to me twice daily),but these tray’s of Forthglade variety packs he wolf’s down like he’d never been fed before !!
As an example,I gave him his one time & I had a few soft boiled eggs & toast but before I’d cut the top off my egg & stirred in some salt,I took one spoonful & he was all done,as I just give it to him in it’s tray & he hand’s it to me when he’s done,like Oliver Twist !!
So now he’s getting this most day’s & a couple he still gets his biscuits he’s always had,so I’d VERY MUCH RECOMMEND Forthglade variety packs,to any dog lover’s that look after there dog’s as a Family member &…

The product it self would be fine and my dog ate with no issue. The biggest problem the packaging. It is not sealed in a good way and some packs comes opened and even mouldy. Please see my pictures attached. Will not be ordering any more.dont want a risk to give bad food for the doggy.

Our doberman puppy has been on this food since we got her, she’s now almost 6 moths old. Her coat is gleaming, she’s an agile and happy (not so little) pup. Hubby did extensive research on puppy food and he wanted a good quality with no “bits or grain” in it for her. This fits the bill perfectly and Millie loves it. We give her this plus a good quality dry food and plenty of water!. Our deliveries arrive promptly each month.

I really like this large pack of Forthglade dog food. The package is easy, it has not wasted any extra paper for packing individually, only the clean cover is on the top of the white plastic . The use by date and meat type is written on one side ,clear and easy to find. I would really recommend to any dog owner who would like to feed their 4 legged love ones with good quality food.They smells okay. Worth the price !

This review is based on the product being damaged/open and some of the plastic trays containing mould.
I would like a replacement for this mouldy food but am not prepared to send it back in order for that to happen. I will provide photographic evidence.

My dogs are so fussy you would not believe it – honestly other people say they have fussy dogs but their dogs eat, mine literally won’t for a week if I don’t give them what they like. Until this! Previously they’ve only eaten a frozen nugget food and that’s a pain for freezer space and when we go away giving enough to a dog sitter but the minute I opened this packet they started jumping up at me and licking the tear off plastic and they’ve eaten what they should for three days straight now (that’s the other thing they do – eat the first day so you buy more and then they’ll never touch it again). Their tummies are good and solid too so it doesn’t upset them. I felt I had to leave a review – if you have a real fussy dog I’d highly recommend trying this!
