I had to hire an IT expert to set this up because I didnโt want HP to auto send me ink. Then I had to have him come back a month later to do it again. Then I moved, it stopped working again. I did get it to work but I had to sign up to auto ink. Couldnโt even print when connected via USBโฆmy very new computer couldnโt find it. Iโve spent 10x the amount of time trying to get this printer to work than actually using it. Never had a problem like this with any printer ever and Iโve owned 5 or 6. Iโd return it but I havenโt got the box. Iโve reported my dissatisfaction to HP twice. All the response I get, โis thanks for your feedbackโ. Really donโt buy it.

I like this printer as it smaller than others I have had. The only thing i cannot copy out of a book

Couldn’t complete install via Wifi/Win10 laptop using HP Smart app so switched to Android App/Phone and set up was successful. Following that had no problem adding the printer in Win10 using the app. But I will say that patience is required!

Very compact design , though quite flimsy build – wonder if it will last . Cheap , but only 100 pages per STD ink cartridge .
Wi- Fi connection with a router I found problematic . Would not connect . Eventually by trial & error found that pressing buttons on the printer ……prints out the instructions you need for wi – fi connection . Now that’s economy for you – the sort governments need when cost – cutting !
However still couldn’t establish a router to printer connection . Eventually found the way to bypass the router and print securely , directly – though during this time had to connect my wi – fi to the printer signal , and so lost internet access .
Tried a Mac to download a driver , but no success . In another cost limiting way , H.P don’t provide a USB cable – which you need to find and buy – and it’s not a common size / shape .
Could not find a single review on – line , though you can download a pdf from H.P , which is basically named the 3700 series .

Perfect for small office space use the cable as couldnโt get it linked to WiFi but my signal is really weak but cable works fine

Poor app that crashes trying to setup the printer. The new colour cartridge has an error communicating. Asking for a custom password (not the one I set up). Registering for online ink itโs asking to print a page with a number but it doesnโt have a number on the page. Text print quality poor. HP a nightmare to speak to. 3rd HP printer Iโve bought, itโs going back and itโll be the last just poor quality and service all round. I purchased for size and wireless features, Iโm sure if it worked properly it would be fine for these requirements and cost
