I have never bought a Recon/Renewed PC before so I was a bit nervous about parting with ยฃ365 for one. Superfast delivery. I placed the order on a Thursday evening and it arrived on the Saturday morning. I’ve only had it for a few days so it may be too early to comment but so far I am well impressed.
I use my PC for email, basic Internet, word processing and some basic graphics work and it flies for me. It’s a business computer so it has no accessories, gadgetry or neon lights (!) but it seems to be a good, solid machine. If you want things like a card reader for example, you’ll have to buy one.
I’m very happy with it. I didn’t realise how slow my old machine had become until I got this one. One word of warning, this is not a deal for beginners. You open the box and you get the PC, a keyboard and a mouse. There are no instructions at all so you need to know a little bit about setting things up. (This is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five.)
